Serge Gnabry helped Germany to a silver medal in the Olympic

- Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry has signed for Werder Bremen in a deal close to £6m. SportsBild have confirmed that Gnabry joins Bremen on a 4-year deal despite Bayern Munich holding talks with the 21-year-old winger. Gnabry was one of Germany’s best performers at the Olympics and attracted interest from teams around Europe.

- According to Kickr, Tottenham Hotspur are planning a deadline day move for Schalke midfielder Max Meyer as Mauricio Pochettino looks to add a creative player before the end of transfer window. Meyer is valued at €38million which Spurs are ready to pay and sign the highly-rated attacking midfielder. Tottenham see Meyer as a replacement to Heung Son Min, who is linked with a move back to Bundesliga in next few hours.

- Bayer Leverkusen defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos will spend the rest of the 2016-17 season on loan at the newly promoted side Red Bull Leipzig. Papadopoulos has played in Bundesliga 91 times since joining Schalke from Greek side Olympiakos back in 2010. The powerful defender was frozen out of the starting XI last season and was not assured to get regular playing this season either which led to him signing for the newly promoted side RB Leipzig.
