The latest Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is here and has brought a fresh island to drop on with a whole new arsenal of weapons to choose from. Players have started logging into the game in huge numbers to experience the latest Fortnite season. Gamers are trying out all the guns and items the island has to offer. While there are some items that can highly impress players, others may turn out to be disappointing.

That is why loopers miss content that Epic Games vaults at the end of every season to ensure the game keeps evolving. There are other weapons from the past that have been unvaulted and added back to the game this season in one form or the other. These are:

While the community might think the loot pool is unbalanced, the new content has formed a brand new meta in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

All new weapons and items in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

There is an entirely new arsenal of weapons that have arrived in-game for the community to try their hands on and use in their loadouts.

A rifle that fires blades and explodes on impact, the brand new Ex-Caliber Rifle promises heavy damage to an enemy when a looper fires it from a distance. It functions in a similar way to the Infantry Rifle and is good for long-range fights.

Another inclusion perfect for those who prefer a high fire rate on their guns, the Twin-Mag SMG has an incredibly fast fire rate and also offers a faster reload with an extra magazine for those run-and-gun fights that sweats love to engage in.

Apart from the above weapons, an automatic pistol called the Tactical Pistol was also added to the game, which provides a higher fire rate than the traditional pistol, making it a suitable replacement for an SMG. It also features a faster reload time, with an Augmented Perk that further lowers it and increases its mag size.

Additionally, two shotguns, namely the Maven Auto Shotgun and Thunder Shotgun, were released in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. The former offers a high fire rate that is comparable to that of the Auto Shotgun. The Thunder Shotgun consists of a tighter crosshair and deals more damage but has a lower fire rate similar to the Striker Pump.

Adding to the arsenal of Assault Rifles, a Red Eye Assault Rifle that functions similarly to an MK-Seven AR from Chapter 3 was also introduced. However, it inflicts more damage and has less recoil than the latter, as it fires shots slower than other rifles to ensure improved accuracy.

In addition to these weapons, The Shockwave Hammer was also brought to the game. It can be a viable replacement for Shockwave Grenades, which helped players cover long distances across the island with ease. The Hammer, however, does not have limited use; it is good to employ after a cooldown period and is incredibly helpful in breaking down enemy builds in the latest Fortnite season.
