Fortnite leaks showcase anti-vehicle sniper rifle coming to Chapter 5 Season 3

According to the leak, the new Heavy Sniper Rifle will act as an anti-vehicle weapon, dealing increased damage to vehicles. This will be the highlight of the weapon, especially since players have been divided on vehicle mods following the launch of Chapter 5 Season 3. However, it will also mark Fortnite's return to a bolt-action sniper meta in Chapter 5, something that many have been yearning to see.

As seen in the stats, the new Heavy Sniper Rifle will also serve its classic purpose as a Sniper Rifle with a whopping 138 body damage and a 2.5x headshot multiplier. However, since this will be a bolt-action sniper rifle, it will require a reload after every shot, potentially avoiding the one-shot sniper rifle meta that plagued Chapter 5 Season 1.

While the leaks do provide a good look at the gun, there is no clear mention of a release date. The weapon is likely to be released as a part of the v30.10 update, the first significant update for Chapter 5 Season 3. However, nothing is confirmed till Epic Games says so.
