According to the latest Fortnite leak, Godzilla is all but confirmed to be featured as a Boss in Chapter 6. The information was exclusively shared by veteran leaker @ShiinaBR. @HYPEX and @iFireMonkey also re-shared the post on social media platform X. Given their track record, it can be said with near certainty that Godzilla will be present on the island.
As per leaks, in addition to Godzilla being a Boss, the Kaiju will also be featured as a skin called Godzilla Evolved; players will be able to wear it during a match. At the moment, an in-game version of the skin is yet to be revealed. This will likely be showcased during the official Chapter 6 Season 1 teaser/trailer later this week. Fortnite leak predicts Godzilla Boss could be part of in-game event
As mentioned by leaker @ShiinaBR, Godzilla will likely be featured in-game as a larger-than-life boss — something similar to what was done in Chapter 5 Season 4, when Doctor Victor Von Doom became super-sized and the community had to band together to defeat him.
Perhaps Epic Games has something similar planned for Godzilla. But for the time being, there is no information as to how or why things could turn out this way. It will mostly depend on the storyline, which is currently a complete mystery.
The only thing that can be confirmed is that the theme is indeed Japan-inspired, as previous leaks had stated. This means that other collaborations such as Demon Slayer are all but confirmed as well. Cyberpunk 2077 is also in the pipeline, but the information regarding it is very limited.
Could there be a Godzilla-inspired item/weapon?
There are leaks for many items/weapons such as the Masamune Blades and Demon/Oni Masks, but nothing specially related to Godzilla. Maybe Kong's B.E.A.S.T. Glove from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire could be added to the loot pool, but there's no information (official or otherwise) about it at the moment.
With Chapter 2 Remix: The Finale Live Event kicking off in less than three days, it's not long until this phase of the storyline ends, and as such, new information could be officially revealed. Regardless of whether there's a Godzilla-inspired weapon, the Kaiju itself will still be present.
