When may Rockstar release GTA 6 trailer 2 now that the game is confirmed for Fall 2025?

It was recently confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming out in fall 2025, so fans are naturally wondering when they'll get to watch the GTA 6 trailer 2. Rockstar released the first trailer in December 2023, and there has been endless speculation about the next one since.

Take-Two recently revealed the game's launch window in its earnings call report. Now, with the help of this data, and going by Rockstar's usual pattern of releasing titles, we can offer an approximate prediction for when GTA 6 trailer 2 could come out.

Note: This article is entirely speculative, based on the release patterns of past Rockstar Games titles and the recently announced GTA 6 release window of fall 2025.

GTA 6 trailer 2 release date predicted after Fall 2025 game launch revealed

Rockstar has released several games during the fall season, including its last two titles — Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. So, we can assume that the studio is going to keep doing that — something a lot of fans had speculated about. In light of that, we can assume that GTA 6 trailer 2 will be released between September and November this year (2024).

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company behind GTA developers Rockstar Games, recently revealed that GTA 6 will be releasing in fall 2025. This release timeline is something that many fans had speculated about, but now we have official confirmation.

Since Grand Theft Auto 6 seems to be following a similar release pattern to that of GTA 5 and RDR2, here's the release timeline of these two titles.

GTA 5 got six trailers, although this includes three separate ones for each of its protagonists. These three videos were all released on the same day. RDR2, on the other hand, got four trailers in total, including the final launch one.

If we go back to GTA 4, Rockstar released four trailers for that game, but these were accompanied by 12 small teasers and two commercials.

As such, it's not clear how many trailers Grand Theft Auto 6 may get. So, until GTA 6 trailer 2 comes out, fans shouldn't take any speculations too seriously.
