With this win, Northern Superchargers have the same number of points as the only two teams above them in the table. Meanwhile, the "spirit" of Team London won't be too high. Following this loss, they will now have to rely on results of other teams to qualify.

Zak Crawley (Player of the Match, 55* off 38 balls and a superb catch): "Important game for us to get a win tonight! I try to keep the fundamentals the same, but I do premeditate a bit more in these formats. It was great to bat in the power play, wasn't all that easy after that though. Mitchell Santner and Adil Rashid bowled excellently and so did the others, to keep it down to the score they did here."
9:02 PM local time, 1:32 AM IST | Northern Superchargers cap off a clinical chase with 19 balls to spare, winning the match by 8 wickets.
Zak Crawley 55* (38) | Thomas Lawes 2/34 Ollie Pope 52* (38) | Jamie Overton 1/22
Some would say, that the writing was pretty much on the wall when they restricted the Spirit to an underwhelming score of 136. However, remember, it was a sluggish wicket, where run-scoring seemed like a chore. And the visitors' approach was a prudent one.
The progression of Zak Crawley's innings captured it beautifully. He unfurled some cracking shots to send three of the first five balls to the fence. But then, anchored his way through the middle overs, ensuring that the opposition had no easy wickets up for grabs. While he was doing that, Dan Lawrence, who was promoted to number 3 today, scored an exuberant 22-ball-37 making sure that the required rate never got too big. Eventually, they crossed the finish line with plenty of time to spare.
Earlier, the home team's batting innings had moved along like an old rusty bicycle on a muddy road. While the wicket was tough, a lot of it was due to some really good bowling from Northern Superchargers. They altered their lengths well throughout and even adjusted their lines in accordance to the short boundary with each change of ends.
Jacob Duffyand Matthew Potts set the tone early with their tidy spells in the powerplay. Wile the spinners — Adil Rashid and Mitchell Santner — did not get any wickets, they tied the batters up with some intelligent bowling. Amidst all that, the Spirit batters tried to target the fifth bowler — Thomas Lawes, who reaped rewards and finished with two wickets to his name. Jamie Smith's 41 and Ollie Pope's 52* looked agricultural and in the end, proved less than enough.
16.2 Ashton Turner to Harry Brook, THAT DOES IT! BROOK FINISHES IT WITH A FOUR! Back of a length around off and sitting up. Brook stays on the back foot and smacks it with the twirl of the wrists over wide mid-on!

15.2 Richard Gleeson to Dan Lawrence, GONE! Short around off-stump. Lawrence backed away and ended up slicing it off the back foot. The ball had more height on it than distance and deep backward point gobbled it up near the fence.
