Since Minecraft is a vast and old sandbox title constantly updated by Mojang, it is bound to have a lot of bugs. There are hundreds of items, a near-endless map, countless mobs, and various ways to interact with the world. Hence, not all aspects of the game can be perfect. Fortunately, Mojang is quite snappy about fixing bugs by constantly tracking them and updating the game.
For someone new to the game, bug reporting might be slightly tedious, especially regarding games developed by Mojang. Hence, here is a simple step-by-step process to report a glitch or bug for any Minecraft edition.
Steps to report Minecraft bugs and glitches to Mojang
1) Open the Mojang bug-tracker website

Mojang has its very own bug-tracking website, which manages all kinds of bug and glitch-related reports tied to various services and games that the studio has developed. Hence, you need to visit it to report any bugs.
In Minecraft's Java and Bedrock Editions, the easiest way to head directly to the website is to select the "Report Bugs" option in the Settings.
2) Create an account on the bug-tracker website

After reaching the website, you need to create a brand new account to start reporting bugs and glitches. This will be a separate account that is not connected to a Mojang game or a Microsoft account. The Log In button can be found in the top-right corner of the website. After you enter your credentials, you'll get a confirmation email. Verify your email address to create the account.
3) Check for an existing bug report before creating a new one

Before submitting a bug report, use the Search feature to ensure that your issue hasn't already been raised by someone else. This helps keep the bug-tracker website clutter-free, with no repeat reports about the same problem. Most issues that players face are common. Hence, it's probable that someone else has already reported the bug you're facing.
4) Create a report

After you make an account, you need to select a game edition, launcher, or any other Mojang service to report a bug in that specific category. Once you do that, you will see a list of bugs already reported for the selected edition, launcher, or server. On this page, there will be a small button at the top called "Report new bug," which you have to press to create a new ticket.
On the new report page, you can give a summary of the bug, add the version in which the bug has been detected, and attach pictures to support the information you're providing.
Once your bug report is complete, submit it. Subesequently, you can check whether it has been addressed on the bug-tracker website. Since there are loads of reports on the website, your issue might take some time to be resolved.
