How to get lead by scrapping items in Fallout 76

To get the lead on these items, simply put them in your workshop and scrap them. If you want to scrap a bulk of these items with much more ease, you can drop them on the ground and open your build menu. In the build menu, simply look at the items and select scrap.

Here are some of the best lead depots in the game:

On the ground floor of the Charleston Fire Department is a gym room. Proceed straight through the main doorway and to the right.
In the main courtyard of Eastern Regional Penitentiary, next to the armor station building.
There is a gym on the ground floor at Green Country Lodge, which is located north of Flatwoods. It contains six weights and about 35 leads. It is located just behind the lobby.
Go out of the elevator, take a left turn up the stairs in Hornwright Estate, and enter via the door to the south of the pool table.
The monorail elevator toward the end of the train on the third floor carries 305 pounds of weights and dumbbells. Use the service elevator on the Eastern leg of the Monorail lift to get to the third floor. Then, turn around and head toward the train, where the weights are located on the ground.
As soon as you enter the inside of Orwell Orchards bomb bunker, go straight down the steps and to the left.
