World of Warcraft: Dragonflight's scheduled server downtime is coming on May 9. That means there will be plenty of new competitive content to work on, whether you want to raid or PVP. Guilds will officially begin racing towards World First in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible. PVP teams will be coming together to dominate everyone in the Arena. Whether you’re a casual or hyper-competitive player, there’s new gear and challenging experiences awaiting you in this update.

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s upcoming server downtime will be longer than usual, but then Season 2 will commence. Typically these server maintenance times are short, but for major content updates, they last a little bit longer. It’s also worth noting that while the currently scheduled time is known, it could change depending on circumstances.

How long will the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Season 2 server downtime last?

The official Battle.net app revealed yesterday the server downtime that players would have to wait through for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. It is extended this week, so players should be aware of that. If you’re looking to compete in rated PVP, or start grinding through the new Mythic+ dungeons/affixes, you’ll need to ensure your game is updated after the downtime.
