Incarnon Atomos is one of Warframe's most criminally underrated secondary Incarnon Genesis weapons at present. While the original Atomos remains a rewarding weapon at lower Mastery Ranks, this Incarnon Genesis turns it into one of the best Acolyte-slayers in Steel Path. Should you get Incarnon Atomos in Warframe?
In short, yes. Incarnon Atomos is significantly better now than it was on release. You can expect top-tier performance from it in Warframe's endgame, which makes it good enough to break into the A-tier of an Incarnon Weapon tier list.
Upon release, the Evolution II Talent Paladin Virtue was bugged and did not grant the Critical Damage as advertised. This was patched in Warframe Hotfix 33.0.3, incentivizing Critical-oriented builds for Incarnon Atomos again.
This makes the base Critical Damage on the Incarnon form a whooping 4x multiplier, which increases with modded Critical Damage. Atomos has a middling Riven disposition, yet the base Critical Damage is so high that you can easily slot a mediocre Crit-leaning Riven and get good results.
How to get Incarnon Atomos in Warframe
The Atomos Incarnon Genesis upgrade can be picked up during Incarnon Rotation E (week 5). This rotation contains one of the most meta Incarnon weaponry, meaning Incarnon Atomos often gets left behind.

Mods used:
- Primed Pistol Gambit (can be replaced with Critical Delay)

The Incarnon Atomos mod builds shown above have up-front damage and some status scaling. Thanks to the double-dipping faction damage multiplier, the Heat DoT lets you benefit greatly from some status scaling.
The up-front approach with Corrosive also leans into Incarnon Atomos' strength in the Steel Path as an Acolyte-killer. Even though it does not have the highest single-target DPS on paper, Incarnon Atomos' projectile nature lets it partially bypass the damage attenuation on Acolytes.
