The Unyielding Enemies in Warhammer Darktide are some of the most terrifying foes you will encounter in the game. Enemies with this keyword can not be stopped. If they charge at you, your best bet is to either dodge out of their way or get ready to tank a lot of damage. Unyielding Enemies can also be equipped with the Carapace armor, so try to have an anti-armor weapon with you before fighting them.
In this guide, we have shared everything you will need to know about the Unyielding Enemies in Warhammer Darktide and how to defeat them.
What are Unyielding Enemies in Warhammer Darktide?
Unyielding Enemies are a unique type in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide mainly known for their resistance to stagger and interruption. You will need sustained, high damage to defeat them because using your usual staggering attacks will be useless. Primarily, all Unyielding Enemies are considered Ogryn-type units, including the bosses like Plague Ogryn and Beast of Nurgle.
Many of these enemies possess the Carapace armor, which requires weapons with anti-armor capabilities to penetrate. The Crushers, for instance, are fully armored, while other Ogryn units like the Bulwark and the Reaper have mixed coverage of Carapace and exposed skin.
The damage bonuses against Unyielding Enemies apply only to the unarmored areas, so you will have to be quite precise with your aim to kill them.
