Austin Reed Dillon is an American professional stock car racing driver, who hails from a prominent racing family. He is the grandson of Richard Childress, the owner of Richard Childress Racing, and the son of Mike Dillon, a former racing driver who now serves as the general manager of the same team. Austin's younger brother, Ty Dillon, competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Dillon primarily races in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing, which is owned by his grandfather. His significant achievement, winning the 2013 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship by just 3 points over Sam Hornish Jr., demonstrates his talent. Following Dillon's Xfinity Series championship victory, he secured a race seat with Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series for the 2014 season on his own merit. He has demonstrated his skill in the Cup Series by winning five races, earning six pole positions, and finishing in the top ten 78 times. Notably, among his five wins is the Daytona 500, which he captured in 2018.
