Joey Logano is a professional stock car racing driver. He races in the NASCAR Cup Series. Logano drives the No. 22 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Team Penske. He is also a part-time participant in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No.15 car for AM Racing. Joey Logano won the Championship in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2018, 2022 and 2024 respectively. He is also the youngest Cup Series race winner, as of February 2025. Logano won his last Cup Series title with Team Penske winning the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race in the 2024 season.

Joey Logano, who won the 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race, has been racing in the NASCAR Cup Series for 17 years, participating in over 579 races, as of February 2025. He has won 36 races in the series including the 2015 Daytona 500, as of February 2025. Logano has collected over 287 top-10s in the NASCAR Cup Series with 31 pole positions. He debuted in the Cup Series in 2009 and was awarded the Rookie of the Year honors. Logano was also added to the list of the 75 Greatest Drivers of NASCAR in 2024. He is the first driver in the Cup Series to have won every race in a playoff round.

Joey Logano's early life

Joey Logano was born to Debbie and Thomas Logano on May 24, 1990. He started his career as a racing driver in the quarter midget series when he was six. Logano won his first championship in 1997 in the Eastern Grand National Championship in the Junior Stock Car Division. He joined NASCAR in 2007 in the Grand National Division. Logano was allowed to race, courtesy of a new rule that allowed drivers aged 16 years and above to be part of the series.

Joey Logano was praised highly by former Cup Series veteran, Mark Martin, and Busch Series champion, Randy LaJoie. Joey Logano went on to win the first race of the NASCAR Round of 8 playoffs earning a spot in the final four drivers for the championship.
