José Adolis García Arrieta is a Cuban professional baseball player in the Major Leagues Baseball. He was born in Ciego de Ávila, Cuba on March 2, 1993. Adolis plays the position of an outfielder in the MLB and is known by his nickname ‘El Bombi’.


He defected from Cuba in 2016 and came to America. Adolis played in the Cuban National Series for the team Ciego de Ávila. The outfielder has also played for the Cuban national team. He also has experience playing internationally for Nippon Professional Baseball for the Yomiuri Giants. On August 6, 2018, Adolis made his MLB debut with the St. Louis Cardinals. He was traded to the Texas Rangers in 2019 and is currently playing for the team. The outfielder was on the All-Star team in 2021 and 2023.

Adolis Garcia was born on March 2, 1993, in Ciego de Ávila, Cuba. However, he defected from Cuba in 2016 and came to play in Major Leagues. When he was in Cuba, he played in the Cuban National Series for the team Ciego de Ávila. Adolis played in the 2015 Pan American Games for the Cuban national team. Adolis has also dipped his toe into playing Internationally for other Leagues. He played in the Nippon Professional Baseball in 2016. He signed with the Yomiuri Giants on April 20, 2016.


After reaching the U.S., he was signed by the St. Louis Cardinals in February 2017. However, he had only received a non-roster invitation to spring training. He began his Minor Leagues career in the same year and played for teams like the Springfield Cardinals and the Memphis Redbirds.


Back then his stats reflected how good of a player he was. His total home runs were 22, RBI was 71, Stolen Bases were 10, and Batting Average was .256.
