Alan Hutton is a Scottish footballer who plays as a right back for Premier League club Aston Villa and for the Scotland National team. Hutton started his professional career by joined Rangers on 4th September 2000. Since his debut against Partick Thistle in a Scottish Premier League match on 22 December 2002 he has made 94 appearances for the club and scored 2 goals in six years. One of his major victories in his life was over Chelsea on 24th February. He joined the English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window in the 2007–08 season for nearly £5 million. Thereafter, Alan Hutton signed on with Sunderland and made his first international debut against Austria on May 2007. He returned to Tottenham shortly after and was an integral part in Tottenham's 2010–11 UEFA Champions League campaign and was part of the team that produced a memorable 3–1 victory over European champions Internazionale. He played every match brilliantly and made his mark as a successful international footballer. He is presently engaged in a four-year contract with Aston villa signed on 31st August, 2011.
