Barry Lamar Bonds was born on 24 July 1964. He used to be an American professional baseball player in the Major Leagues Baseball. Bonds played for two teams in his entire MLB career, these were the Pittsburgh Pirates and the San Francisco Giants. He played the position of a left fielder.


Bonds are considered one of the greatest baseball players in the Major Leagues' history. He holds the record for most career home runs which was at 762, most career walks, and most home runs in a single season which was at 73. The left fielder is also a fourteen-time All-star, twelve-time Silver Slugger award winner, and eight-time Gold Glove award winner.

Barry Bonds was born in River Side, California on 24 July 1964. He was born to Patricia Howard and Bobby Bonds. His father, Bobby, was also a great baseball player in the Major Leagues. He was the one likely to have inspired Barry’s passion for baseball. Barry Bond also has two brothers, Rick and Bobby Jr., and a sister named Cheryl Dugan. Barry was almost scouted in his high school but he refused the offer and went on to study in college and play baseball there. He attended Arizona State University. His high school was Junípero Serra High School, Bonds used to play three sports there which were; baseball, football and basketball.
