Brutus Creed: A Brief Biography

Drew Kasper, born on May 13, 1996, is an American professional wrestler and former amateur wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on the Raw brand under the ring name Brutus Creed. He is a member of Diamond Mine along with his elder brother Jacob Kasper also known as under the ring name Julius Creed and Ivy Nile. Brutus Creed and his brother Julius Creed have achieved success in NXT, winning the NXT Tag Team Title once, the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Team of the Year title once, and also securing the NXT Tag Team of the Year accolade in 2023.

Early Life

Drew Kasper was born in Lexington, Ohio. He went to Lexington High School, where he took part in amateur wrestling. After that, he headed to Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, where he studied exercise science and graduated in 2020. During his time at Otterbein University, he wrestled for the Otterbein Cardinals, boasting an overall record of 108–13. He earned the title of a two-time NCAA Division III All-American. In his last year, Kasper had a flawless 30–0 record, securing the top rank in the United States. Unfortunately, he couldn't participate in the 2020 NCAA championships due to their cancellation amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

WWE Career

NXT (2020-2023)

Brutus Creed, adopting the name, made his television debut on the September 7, 2021, episode of NXT alongside Julius Creed. Together, they formed The Creed Brothers as fresh additions to Diamond Mine, engaging in a tag team match against Chuckie Viola & Paxton Averill.

On February 15, 2022, at NXT Vengeance Day, the Creed Brothers secured a victory over MSK, claiming the Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic title. Then, on June 4, 2022, at NXT In Your House, they triumphed over Pretty Deadly, earning the coveted NXT Tag Team Championship. However, their success was short-lived as at Worlds Collide on September 4, 2022, the Creed Brothers lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to Pretty Deadly. This unfortunate turn of events unfolded when Damon Kemp, a member of the Diamond Mine stable, betrayed the Creed Brothers, leading to their defeat.

In July 2023, the Creed Brothers faced the Dyad in a "Loser Leaves NXT" match and, unfortunately, experienced defeat. Despite this setback, they made a strong comeback the following month by defeating Dyad in a cage match, reclaiming their position in NXT. Transitioning to the main roster, the Creed Brothers, accompanied by fellow Diamond Mine member Ivy Nile, marked their debut on the October 30, 2023, episode of Raw. Their introduction was impactful, as they secured a victory over Alpha Academy. The following day at Halloween Havoc, they wrapped up their NXT journey by defeating Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo in a thrilling "Tables, Ladders, and Scares match."

RAW (2023 - Present)

On the November 6, 2023, episode of Raw, the Creed Brothers, along with Ivy Nile, officially became part of the Raw brand. Later, on the November 27 episode, they emerged victorious in a tag team turmoil match, earning an opportunity for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. However, their attempt to secure the titles was unsuccessful as they faced Judgment Day on the December 18 episode of Raw.
