Kamaljit Singh is an Indian professional footballer who was born on 28 December, 1995 in India. He plays as a goalkeeper for the club Pune City in Indian Super League.
Background
Kamaljit began his career with the AIFF Academy and made his debut for them October 29, 2014 against United SC in the Durand Cup.
Kamaljit made his senior debut for Sporting Goa in 2014 only where they won the match 3-2.
Debut
Singh has represented India U19 team during the Weifang Cup in 2011 and after a reasonable performance there he got selected for the India U23 team for their 2014 Asian Games training camp and was finalized for the Asian Games.
He was benched for the games against UAE U23 and Jordan U23 but was not seen playing any match during that tournament.
Club career
Kamaljit Singh began his club career in the Indian Super League 2017 season with Pune City FC where he managed to play only three games and was benched for rest of the 13 games and Vishal Kaith was preferred over him due to the later’s consistent performance.
