Nike and its co-owned label, Michael Jordan, have continued to make waves within the sneaker industry with the launch of multiple retro makeovers of their classic Nike Air Jordan sneaker lineage throughout 2023. The label earlier announced 2023 as "Jordan Year" as a nod to MJ's iconic jersey number 23.
To make the celebration more meaningful for both the Jordan label and its fans, multiple retro looks were reiterated in modern sensibilities. The label launched its Spring Air Jordan Retro collection in December 2022. The collection was followed by the Summer Air Jordan retro collection in March 2023.
Another Fall Air Jordan Retro collection was revealed in July 2023. Now, what appears to be the final retro collection of the year, i.e., the Holiday 2023 Air Jordan Retro Collection, has been announced in September 2023. The official site describes the collection as,
"Check out the latest rotation of Air Jordan Retros for the holiday season, highlighted by the Gratitude colorway of the Air Jordan XI. With new plays on materials, color blocking and more, the Air Jordan retro collections are inspired by the past and created for the future."
All the sneakers mentioned in the list will be released via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers during the holiday (October, November, and December) season.
Nike Air Jordan 1 High "Mauve" to Nike Air Jordan 14 "Black White": Every Jordan sneaker releasing during Holiday 2023
1) Nike Air Jordan 1 High "Mauve"
The sneaker comes constructed from leather material in a two-toned makeover, with white as a base and mauve as overlays. The swooshes of the shoe come doused in a mauve hue.
The sneaker will be released on October 14, 2023, with a price tag of $180.
2) Air Jordan 1 High "Royal Reimagined"
The AJ1 High "Royal Reimagined" comes constructed out of a mix of nubuck and leather material. The shoe comes clad in a two-toned makeover, with black acting as a base and blue leather acting as overlays. The profile swooshes comes doused in blue.
This AJ1 sneaker will be released on November 4.
3) Nike Air Jordan 1 High "Satin Bred"
The AJ1 High "Satin Bred" comes constructed out of satin material. The shoe comes clad in a two-toned makeover, with black acting as a base and red satin acting as overlays. The profile swooshes come doused in satin red.
This sneaker is set to be released on October 18.
4) Nike Air Jordan 2 "Origins"
The Jordan label is launching an Italy-inspired AJ2 "Origins" makeover. The silhouettes come constructed out of leather material, with white acting as base. The white base contrasts with green and red hues accenting the piping and details.
This sneaker is scheduled to be released on November 18.
5) Nike Air Jordan 3 "Fear"
The Jordan Brand is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the AJ3 sneaker model and releasing the iconic AJ3 "Fear." Originally released in 2013, the pair will be released in full family size. The pair is constructed out of a mix of leather and nubuck material.
This sneaker is releasing a week after Air Jordan 3 Origins comes out, on November 25.
6) Nike Air Jordan 3 "Off Noir"
The Jordan Brand is adding an Off Noir color scheme to the AJ3 sneaker model, which comes clad in black, white, and anthracite hues. The shoes are constructed out of suede and nubuck material. The look will be released in women's sizes.
Priced at $200, this sneaker will be released on December 7.
7) Nike Air Jordan 4 SE "Olive"
The AJ4 "Olive" comes constructed out of a mix of leather, suede, and textiles on the panel. The shoes come in olive and green hues. The shoe will be released on November 18 in full family size.
8) Nike Air Jordan 5 "Navy"
The AJ 5 "Navy" sneakers come constructed out of leather, suede, and textile material. The entire shoe comes clad in a midnight navy hue, which contrasts with black TPU paneling. The midsoles come clad in a white hue, featuring a splattered cement finish and an icy blue outsole.
The sneaker is set to be released on November 10.
9) Nike Air Jordan 6 "Aqua"
The AJ6 "Aqua" sneakers give a nod to the iconic retro Air Jordan 8 sneaker model. The upper of the shoe is constructed out of nubuck material, which is supported by high-gloss and matte-finished midsoles. The pair will be released on October 7 in full family sizes.
10) Nike Air Jordan 8 "Winterized"
The Jordan label is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the AJ8 sneaker model, and the latest "Winterized" colorway comes clad in a triple black hue. The entire upper is constructed out of water-resistant nubuck material, reflective straps, and a collar lining. The sneaker will be released in men's and grade school sizes.
The sneakers are scheduled to be released on November 27 with a price tag of $210.
11) Nike Air Jordan 11 "Gratitude"
The AJ11 "Gratitude" sneaker model colorway is inspired by the 2006 released Defining Moments Pack. The upper of the shoe comes constructed out of premium leather material, which replaces the OG ballistic mesh material. The pair will be released in full family sizes.
This sneaker will likely be released on December 9.
12) Air Jordan 11 "Neapolitan"
The Jordan label is releasing the AJ 11 "Neapolitan" sneaker model, which is inspired by the 2022-released Air Jordan 3 sneaker makeover. The latest sneaker comes in white and brown hues. The upper of the shoe is clad in white, which contrasts with brown midsoles and translucent pink outsoles.
This model is releasing on November 11.
13) Nike Air Jordan 12 "Cherry"
The AJ12 "Cherry" is being re-released after previously being released in 2009. The famous cherry colorway comes constructed out of a premium leather upper. Most of the upper comes in a white hue, which strongly contrasts with the red midsoles and details. The pair will be released in full family sizes.
The AJ12 Cherry is releasing on October 28.
14) Air Jordan 13 "Wheat"
The Jordan label is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the iconic Air Jordan 13 sneaker model and hence re-releasing the iconic 2004-released AJ13 "Wheat" colorway. The upper comes constructed out of a mix of leather and textile material. Most of the shoes are done in a white hue, which contrasts with the wheat-hued midsoles and heel tabs.
The shoe will be released on October 21, in full family sizes.
15) Nike Air Jordan 14 "Black White"
The Jordan label is releasing an AJ14 "Black White" colorway, which comes constructed out of a mix of nubuck and suede material. The suede underlays come clad in a black hue, which contrasts with white nubuck overlays.
The shoe will be released on December 20, exclusively in men’s sizes.
