Getting started with Anime Shadow 2
Overview

Anime Shadow 2 is mainly a simulation game, where you are accompanied by up to four Shadows at any time. Shadows are the primary source of attacking power in this experience; the more powerful your Shadows, the quicker you pile damage onto the enemy. Once the enemy is defeated, you will receive Coins and XP as a reward.
You can click on an enemy to have your Shadows converge upon them and begin their assault. As they continue to attack, they fill up a meter which, when full, has them unleash an ultimate attack. The higher their level, the more powerful their attacks will be.
Team up with others to dominate the battlefield and gather enough currency to unlock new Worlds and Shadows.

Gameplay mechanics

- Simulation-style action game: The game is all about defeating as many enemies on the map as you can using the best possible Shadows. A short while after defeating enemies, they respawn, allowing you to level up and gather more currency for summons and shop purchases. Farming is a fundamental part of the experience, as you must meet the specified level requirement to progress through the levels.
- Shadows: Shadows function similarly to Pets who fight at your behest. Acquiring new and powerful Pets fuels the primary gameplay loop, so it’s generally a good idea to continue summoning on portals for the most powerful options. You can equip up to four Shadows at once and for each enemy they defeat while in the active Shadows list, they gain XP.
- Traits and Talents: Traits and Talents are secondary stat boosters that can help you emphasize a Shadow’s battle performance. These are primarily applied through spins that automatically assign a random Trait or Talent to your chosen Shadow. Shadows’ abilities dictate which bonuses they favor, so try to get the best possible bonus combination.
- Accessories: Accessories can be equipped to acquire passive bonuses distinct from those offered by Traits and Talents. They can be equipped to increase drop rate, damage, or more, and are typically obtained through Invasion mode. So, level up your best Shadows and take on the Invasion mode to try and nab the best set of Accessories.
- Worlds: The game currently has four Worlds, each of which can be unlocked using Coins. Each World is modeled after a popular anime series, giving it a distinct feel from the others. You can access the unlock and teleport menu by approaching the Teleport beacon in the overworld.
- Shop: The in-game shop can be accessed at any time to buy premium items and acquire unique bonuses that cannot be obtained otherwise. You can purchase its contents using Robux or the game’s premium currency, Gems. Gem sources are few and far between, but they technically make the premium elements of the shop free to acquire.
