Every Grow a Garden update introduces a range of exciting content, from new NPCs and profitable Mutations to Pets with useful traits. A notable recent addition to the game is the Tarantula Hawk. The creature resembles the Wasp but has a blue body and larger wings. Interestingly, it has two traits, one of which decreases a random Pet's ability cooldown by several seconds.

How to get Tarantula Hawk in Grow a Garden

The Tarantula Hawk can be obtained from the Anti Bee Egg in Grow a Garden. Possessing a high drop rate of 30%, it is one of the two Legendary Pets introduced by the Friendship update, alongside the Moth. You are most likely to get it within the first 10 Anti Bee Eggs.

There are a couple of ways to get Anti Bee Eggs. The first method involves completing the tasks associated with the Bizzy Bee Event. Acquire Honey by processing Pollinated crops in the Honey Combpressor. Next, head to the Bizzy Bear, located next to the Queen Bee, and see the plant demands on the barrel in front of the character.

The Bizzy Bear will only take specific crops, starting from Blueberries, with the Pollinated or Honeyglazed Mutations. Give the crops and required Honey and let the NPC cook till you get rewards.

The Bizzy Bear reward track includes Flower Seed Packs, Manuka Seeds, Lumira Seeds, and Anti Bee Eggs. For the latter, you'll need recipes involving Strawberry, Nectarine, Rose, and Beanstalk.

Players can also purchase Anti Bee Eggs with Robux. Simply press the Store icon on the screen and then choose a Robux pack for the Anti Bee Eggs. A single egg costs 149 Robux, while the pack of 10 is available at the reduced price of 1269 Robux.

Tarantula Hawk traits in Grow a Garden

The Tarantula Hawk possesses valuable traits in Roblox Grow a Garden. After every 25 minutes or less, it applies the Pollinated Mutation to a random fruit, which is usually obtained during the Bee Swarm Event. This Pet saves you from waiting for the event and helps you harvest Pollinated crops for the Bizzy Bear.

Additionally, every five minutes or less, the Tarantula Hawk stings a random active Pet in your garden to reduce its ability cooldown by up to 90 seconds. To benefit from this trait, only keep the best Pets in the garden. You can place Dragonfly, Disco Bee, Raccoon, and other valuable Pets in an effort to get them stung and decrease their ability cooldown.

Note that the Tarantula Hawk's ability is only applicable to active Pets. Animals and insects in your inventory are not affected by it. Moreover, the decrease in their cooldown is temporary.
