It’s been two weeks since the winter transfer window opened and rumours have not stopped linking footballers with reputed clubs. Some of these transfer rumours were turned into reality while the others were only worth a discussion over tea. Few rumours that did manifest itself include Wilfried Bony to Manchester City, Xherdan Shaqiri to Inter Milan, Yaya Sanogo to Crystal Palace, Fernando Torres to AC Milan, Enzo Perez to Valencia and the list goes on.Several high profile players have been linked with big clubs such as Manchester Untied, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City. Let’s have a look at the transfer rumours that are doing the rounds today.

#1 Manchester United

Paulo Dybala could make a switch to Old Trafford in the summer for £31m

Maurizio Zamparini has claimed that Manchester United are keen on signing Palermo striker Paulo Dybala. The club’s President has also stated that Dybala will not be sold until the summer. When the transfer window reopens next season, Dybala will reportedly be sold for a fee of £31 million. The 21-year old Argentine has scored nine goals in 17 appearances this season.

Manchester United target Mats Hummels reveals that he will consider a move to Old Trafford in the future. He confirms that any deal in January is unlikely to happen, but he will not contemplate twice in pledging his loyalty to Louis Van Gaal. Van Gaal is ready to shell out up to £30m for the defender.

#2 Liverpool and Arsenal

Liverpool joins race for West Ham target Alex Song (right)

Liverpool are planning to bid for Alex Song at the end of the season. The midfielder is currently on a loan deal with West Ham and the club are looking forward to making the deal permanent, but as reports suggest Liverpool will join them the race for his signature.

Arsenal have launched a £63m bid for Borussia Dortmund’s pair Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan. Even though Mats Hummels revealed that he will not consider any transfer deal in January, the Gunners are positive that they can sway the deal towards their side by the end of this month.

Liverpool scouts are keeping a close eye on Matthew Ryan. Brendan Rodgers feels that the Australian No. 1 could solve their goalkeeping woes. The Reds are likely to release a transfer bid for the Australian International, during the summer transfer window.

#3 Manchester City

Juventus and Roma eye for Stevan Jovetic

After signing Wilfried Bony, Manchester City are eyeing Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez. The reported bid for the striker is around £20m. The Englishman has not played a game, since his knee injury from April last year.

Bozhidar Kraev, Levski Sofia’s midfielder is on Manchester City’s radar. The 17-year old went on trial with Juventus and Manchester City earlier, but very few details about the trial have been released.

Juventus and Roma are planning to release a £22m bid for Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic but as reports suggest, City will not be interested in selling the player, despite of having signed Wilfried Bony.

#4 Chelsea

Will Chelsea let Inter Milan take Kurt Zouma?

Blackpool are interested in Chelsea Striker Islam Feruz, who returned to Stamford Bridge, after failing to impress Sky Bet Championship side Cardiff City. The Somalian born footballer spent the first half of the season with Greek outfit, OFI Crete on loan. He trained under Cardiff boss Russell Slade, who later confirmed that the player will not be joining his side.

As reports, today are suggesting, Inter Milan are planning to make a move to sign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma on loan for the remainder of the season. However, it seems that Chelsea will not let the 20-year old leave as they want to have enough resources for their title push in the second half of the season.

Will Swansea lose another asset like Bafetimbi Gomis?

Tottenham join the race to sign Arsenal target Winston Reid. Reports suggest that the club officials have agreed to pay the New Zealander £60,000 a week to acquire the player, when he becomes a free agent. The defender is currently contracted by West Ham which will expire in six months.

Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis on Borussia Dortmund and Schalke radar. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have already launched a bid of £9.3m for the striker, but Swansea are keen on keeping Gomis.

Lazio willing to sign Ravel Morrison on a pre-contract for the summer as they can not finish the deal in January transfer window, due to UEFA regulations. West Ham are willing to cancel his contract if no club comes forward.
