WWE Monday Night Raw - 16 June, 2014 : Superstar Ratings

The WWE delivered an action pact Raw for their fans and anyone who bought the ticket ended up blessing that decision.Battle line for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view were drawn much clearly this time and though the show had some stupid segments in between the action between the ropes covered up well.Almost all the names for the Money in the Bank ladder match were confirmed which made it one of the most anticipated matches on the year. The superstars also had some great time to shine on Raw and here is a look at this weeks Superstar Ratings.

#15 Fandango and Layla- 3

The good news is that WWE has dropped the angle that Fandango and Santino had but the bad one is that they found a replacement. The storyline seems to be well placed to fill in the ridiculous void that Santino left and the loss for Fandango didn’t do any good for him either.

#14 Rybaxel- 4

Ryback and Curtis Axel came to Raw with some good momentum thanks to the partner picking that was going between the Rhodes Brothers. However, a surprise package called stardust embarrassed Rybaxel making it a forgettable night for them.

#13 Adam Rose and Summer Rae- 4

It was a weird pairing to say the least but Adam Rose and Summer Rae had some chemistry going in between. The Layla- Summer feud was the centre point of the match but Rose managed to have some spots of his own as well.

#12 Bo Dallas- 5

It’s always a bit hard to choose one particular name amidst of a chaotic Battle Royal but this time apart from the winner, one person who shined was Bo Dallas. He was killing the fans with his cheesy smile and also managed to eliminate some big names with whom he could feud in the future.

#11 Rhodes Brothers-5

WWE was keeping the fans on the edge of their seats about Goldust’s new partner and there were even rumors that it would be Prince Devitt. The Stardust act by Cody takes the angle into an interesting as it almost ensures that we are not going to see a brother-brother match anytime soon.

#10 Rusev- 5

The Bulgarian Brute started off his night with a usual squash match. However, it was his performance in the Battle Royal which stood out more and it may indicate that the company has some good future plans for the Super Athlete.

#9 Paige- 6

The Divas champion started to show her real side this week as there was glimpses of the old Paige that made it big in NXT. The match against Cameron wasn’t anything big but a new direction is clearly mouthwatering as Paige’s fans are concerned.

#8 Dolph Ziggler- 6

The Showoff had another match with Seth Rollins and this time it was on a much bigger stage. The loss doesn’t hurt Ziggler by a bit and instead has given him some base to build an eventful run. Ziggler is unlikely to stick around the Authority and needs to find something new.

#7 Sheamus- 7

The Celtic Warrior got into some friction with Bray Wyatt which might turn out to be a subplot for the Ladder match at Money In The Bank. It was a brawl fest when he faced off Bray as well and though Sheamus didn’t get a win, it was a good night for him.

#6 Bad News Barrett-7

After struggling for the past couple of weeks, Barrett got a win this time around even if it came through count out. He looked good between the ropes as usual but is yet to have a good feud which he can take to Money In The Bank which is surprising.

#5 Wyatt Family- 7

Bray Wyatt delivered a typical yet classy promo to start the night and followed it with a great physical match against Sheamus. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan had their angle pushed forward as well and the result didn’t hurt anyone.

#4 Seth Rollins-7

Recent antics of Seth Rollins suggests that he is suited to playing a heel rather than walking around as a face. He delivered a solid match against Dolph Ziggler and also saw the angle with Dean Ambrose hit the sky. The two are destined to face off soon, and Money In The Bank is the likely venue.

#3 Kane- 7.5

The Big Red Monster got the limelight he deserved on Raw as he main evented with John Cena. Kane might’ve lost the match but he had some great monstrous moments which reminded us that this guy could still pull of some solid matches.

#2 Shield 8.5

The swerve of Seth Rollins has made the Shield stronger and both Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns had one great night. Reigns has put his name among the big ones for the Ladder match while Ambrose looks set to take down Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank.

#1 John Cena- 8.5

The Cenation leader is finally back in the WWE title mix after a well-earned win against Kane in the Stretcher match. It was a great match between the two even though it didn’t reach to the level of Cena’s last man standing match at Payback.

Cena now has the authority to shake off after they were keen to make him lose.
