WWE Monday Night Raw: 6 October 2014 - 5 things that must happen at the show

The last few episodes of Monday Night Raw haven’t given the WWE anything to be proud of. Some awful bookings coupled with lack of future buildup cost the WWE dearly during these outings and there is a certain sense of disappointment among the WWE Universe.Having Monday night football on the other side is doing no good as well for Vince McMahon and his employees as it gives the fans a better option than tuning into half-baked storylines with no sense at all.As the company prepares for another edition of their weekly flagship show on October 6th, from Brooklyn, there are certain things that they could do to ensure that the fans doesn’t go home unhappy, and here is a look at those booking decisions that would do the job.

#5 Resolving the divas chaos

The WWE’s divas division seems like it is going for another match between Paige and AJ Lee. Both the divas are capable of delivering another match but the involvement of Alicia Fox has made matters more chaotic.

There is a big question as to whether Alicia would be involved in the feud between the two as she is the new best friend of Paige. Apart from the title situation, WWE should also sort out the feud between the Bellas. Brie and Nikki aren’t having any sort of heat in their storyline and WWE should edge closer towards a pay-per-view match between the two.

Randomly booked Total Divas need not be touched at the moment but they could be used effectively elsewhere rather than matches between names that have no chemistry at all.

#4 Match card of Hel in a Cell

With just less than twenty days for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, WWE need to make their preparations faster. There haven’t been any matches added to the show so far and WWE seem to be confused about how they should make the matches.

Two weeks is not enough time to build up the matches that they are planning to book which means that the matches should be booked and built up from this week itself.

Another thing that WWE need to make clear about Hell in a Cell would be the appearance of Brock Lesnar. Another pay-per-view without their champion would prove to be a big blow for the company which makes them desperate.

#3 Luke Harper getting his individual push

The internet fan community has been buzzing a lot about the individual push that Luke Harper is going to get once he split up with the Wyatt Family.

Harper is someone who knows how to perform both inside and outside the squared circle and this backs the excitement that is being floated behind his singles push. The first show that Harper could make a major impact on would be Hell in a Cell and for that, Harper should introduce his new character to the WWE Universe on Raw.

Having a good match without the aid of Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan on Monday Night would be the best booking decision for Harper who is destined for bigger things in the near future simply because he deserves it.

#2 Roman Reigns revealing his return date

Reigns would be in Brooklyn on Monday Night and he is scheduled to appear on the show. He could either make an appearance via satellite or be there in flesh and bone, but what would matter more would be the impact of his appearance.

There is no news on what Reigns would be telling the fans. He was taken away due to injury while feuding with Seth Rollins and now that Rollins has found a new foe in the form of Dean Ambrose, Reigns wouldn’t have much of a role in the scene.

This ensures a new enemy for the Samoan Superstar and the least thing that WWE could give the fans on Monday would be the same. They should make sure that Reigns talks about his return date and who his target would be as it is sure to grab the headlines.

#1 An appearance from Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is the biggest headache that WWE has at the moment, period. The part time schedule of the Beast is not helping anyone, especially the writers who are desperately trying to make the fans happy.

With the Hell in a Cell build up still up in the air, there are many things that Lesnar could do on this week’s Raw. Last week, his advocate Paul Heyman revealed that Lesnar had some friction with Seth Rollins and in turn with the Authority.

The Beast could come out and make matters more clear and even tear down the Authority. Lesnar is the enemy that Hunter and his pack need now and even if he won’t be there at Hell in a Cell, a face turn on Monday would keep Lesnar fresh.
