WWE Monday Night Raw Preview: March 10, 2014

Its almost Monday again and a typical WWE fan wouldve started to think about what the company has kept in store for Raw this week. The last time we had this feeling; Daniel Bryan ended up being beaten up by Triple H and locked horns with Batista, Shield had a twisted turn in their story, Undertaker pulled off another disappearing act, Wyatt Family made it clear that Cena was their new target and Real Americans showed that Cesaro is going big.All these shaped up WrestleMania further and there were no signs of CM Punk to please the Chicago crowd. On the back of a mildly (deadly for Chicago fans) disappointing show like that, WWE has lost some kind of momentum heading on to the granddaddy and will be looking to get it back this week.WWEs flagship show will commence in just a matter of hours now so lets take a look at the things what need to be addressed by the writers this week.

#1 Punk, please comes back, will you?

After the show concluded at Chicago last week, the latest rumour that surfaced about the situation of Punk was that he didn’t return to Chicago because it felt so obvious.

And that’s what the fans are saying themselves to calm down.

Everyone is still hoping for Punk to return before WrestleMania and solve all the problems that the WWE is having at the moment.

WWE making that happen this week will clearly anger the Chicago fans but will be the best thing for a long run.

The company could bring back Punk as a saviour of Bryan from the Authority and re-ignite his feud with Triple H adding the exit thing as a storyline angle.

Even it doesn’t happen; see this only as desperation of a typical fan that was heartbroken with such a talent like Punk leaving the company.

#2 The Uso reign

A major talking point from last week was the company’s decision to make the Usos win the tag titles at Raw.

Rikishi’s sons finally struck gold last week at the expense of the New Age Outlaws and made it clear that they will be heading to WrestleMania as the champions, but who will be their opponent?

The Outlaws are yet to cash in their re-match clause while the Rhodes brothers are getting some sort of momentum after Elimination Chamber.

With Real Americans clearly off the scene, Rybaxel, Outlaws and Rhodes Brothers are the contenders left in the division to run for the title. The chances of a four way dance also cannot be pushed out. This week’s Raw might give more hints as to who will be the lucky ones to face Usos at WrestleMania, so keep an eye out on the division.

#3 Real Americans done?

The friction between Cesaro and Jack Swagger has been the focal point of the mid card for some time now and the addition of Big E into the mix has made things more interesting.

Cesaro has been sort of calm till now but it would only be a matter of time before he snaps and gets it on with Swagger. Big E, being the intercontinental champion adds a great prospect of gold into the storyline which means that we could end up having a three way match for the Intercontinental Championship.

The alignment of Zeb Colter after the split up will also determine the long term potential of both wrestlers as Cesaro clearly needs someone charismatic like Colter by his side to make it big.

A big development here could present the company and fans with two excellent singles competitors but they need to pull it off right this time.

#4 Rollins and Ambrose done, Reigns next

It has been a walking out parade for the Shield in the past few weeks. Dean Ambrose was the first one to walk out of the faction which was followed by Seth Rollins last week.

However both men returned soon enough and the stable remained intact despite the cracks. This leaves Reigns as the only one who haven’t walked out on his partners and there are chances that he will follow the pattern this week.

Another match with the Wyatt Family might not be on the cards, but the Shield can expect some high profile opponents this week. If it doesn’t happen, the Hounds of Justice are going to come into the ring and give a promo that will be a twist in the tale.

A triple threat out seems eminent now at WrestleMania and the fans are already praying for them to split up because of the prospect of seeing these three men reining as singles wrestlers in the roster and feuding with the bigger names.

#5 Daniel Bryan against the Whole World

Well, after Elimination Chamber, what we thought was that Batista will be feuding against Randy Orton. But after a botched face return, the company decided to turn him heel and have a go with Bryan instead for the time being.

So how many guy does Bryan have to look out for?

Triple H, Kane, Batista, Randy Orton and any other thing that Stephanie McMahon throws in.

Its the 'Underdog' story in its best form and Bryan is getting more over with the fans as each second passes like this. Triple H getting in the ring and laying out Bryan with a pedigree took the whole thing to a different level since Bryan was successful in pushing Triple H enough to make him rip off his suit.

Kane might also head for a feud with Big Show from the looks of it, but Bryan’s struggle against the Authority will take centre stage this time also.

Apart from these, Bray Wyatt and John Cena in their microphone games will please the crowd while the company should also think about getting Undertaker out more often to get some credible buildup for his WrestleMania match.
