WWE Monday Night Raw Preview: March 17, 2014

The WWE fans that are getting frustrated due to the lack of activity in the companys storylines are going to get treated again because its that part of the week again when WWE brings us its best weekly offering that everyone calls Monday Night Raw.After a brilliant show on Memphis last week, Vince McMahons promotion will be heading to Steve Austins own Texas this time. The writers bought back Hulk Hogan and Undertaker last week to make major impacts on the WrestleMania match card as Hogan was catalyst in adding two big matches. The thirty men Andre the Giant memorial Battle Royal will be a great thing for the midcarders who cant find a place at the pay-per-view while John Cenas encounter with Bray Wyatt is sure to be a large draw. There was a lot of development to Daniel Bryans yes movement as well and he got what he wanted thanks to the rebellion.WWE will be looking to pile up on that momentum as they head to WrestleMania so lets take a look at what all things that could pop up this week on Raw.

#5 Total Diva Chaos

It’s not every day that you see the WWE Divas get some kind of push on the shows. But with the latest season of Total Divas kicking off this week, brace yourself to see them have matches that will make no sense whatsoever.

Every diva involved in the reality series will be seen over the ones not in it and will be getting weird pushes throughout the new season.

Since the WWE only gives importance to the women’s wrestlers when something like this happens, it might be an opportunity worth ceasing for these divas that won’t get a spell like this anytime soon.

However, the one diva who will suffer amidst of all these is AJ Lee as she doesn’t not have the luxury of a total diva show to back her up. She is sure to take falls for the others and it started last week itself.

Who knows, maybe Brie Bella might even get his hands on Stephanie McMahon while both their husbands fight it out in WrestleMania.

#4 A potential Steve Austin appearance

It’s a long shot, it’s a very long shot, but Steve Austin making a guest appearance in his home town is something which could materialize.

With the WWE pushing hard to make him part of WrestleMania, getting him back into the mix and making him feel what he is missing would be a great idea to start with. He need not make any in ring appearance or physical interactions since his presence itself will be a boost for the company.

Having the lights of Austin, Undertaker, John Cena and Hulk Hogan on the same night is surely something worth a million dollars.

A night like that is going to help the writers a lot on the road to WrestleMania as the fans will be engaged into the show no matter what. It will also help to get rid of the CM Punk chants for the time being but then again it’s a long shot.

#3 Hounds in the Limbo

A couple of weeks back, The Shield seemed like a faction which was heading for a high profile break up match at WrestleMania. but things soon turned upside down and the Shield now seems to be most confusing thing about WWE.

They were kept apart into two- on- two tag team matches and singles competitions and showed no signs of any impending breakup. Making the fans wait for the thing is something which is worth doing but giving them no direction before that would be costly.

The Hounds of Justice had some friction with Kane last week but it holds minimal potential since a 3-on-3 match with Kane and two other isn’t something that will give Goosebumps.

However, if Kane decides to punish the Shield for their deeds, it might turn out into something good and it is the best road that the writers could push the Shield into.

#2 Follow the Buzzards

One of the major talking points of last week was Bray Wyatt overshadowing both John Cena and Hulk Hogan simply with his mic skills and persona.

Though we rarely see Bray inside the square circle, he has grown into a character which everyone wants to see since he has so much depth than anyone else on the current roster. It somewhat like the Cactus Jack or Man Kind of Mick Foley in a more creepy way and the fans are easily buying into it.

And now since he has John Cena set for WrestleMania, Bray will be having a bigger stage to make the world realize that he is “the” next big thing.

A big name like Cena will help Bray get more exposure and what we saw last week was just a trailer of what is to come in the future so watch out.

#1 Anti-Rebellion of Triple H

Last week Triple H saw his show hijacked by the Yes movement led by Daniel Bryan through which the flying goat got what he wanted.

Hunter is still fuming about what happened that night and will be looking to make the scores level. He started his revenge trail by punishing Damien Sandow on SmackDown and promised to handle Bryan on Raw.

With an extraordinary talent like Stephanie McMahon by his side, Hunter will make big moves this weak in order to soften up Daniel Bryan prior to their big match at WrestleMania.

Bryan might have obstacle thrown out from every nuke and corner and could be forced to pull double duty every now and then. It will be the actual initiation of the Authority- Underdog feud this week since the battle lines are drawn and its clearly the fans against the company which is going to culminate at WrestleMania.
