WWE Money in the Bank: 5 Ways in which WWE can ruin the pay-per-view

Though the WWE Universe has been less vocal about their disappointments after Wrestlemania, everyone is aware of the fact that all it takes is one bad pay-per-view from the WWE to drag the fans back into that state which the WWE didnt want to see.The Money in the Bank ladder has been filled with exciting matches taking the expectation levels to the sky. And with expectations come the opportunity for the company to ruin everything with some bad bookings.WWE screwing up things despite having all the resources is not a new thing for the fans and here is a look at the ways in which the company could do the same at Money in the Bank on Sunday.

#5 Keeping the titles on Usos

A year back, the Usos winning the tag team titles was considered as a great thing for the tag team division since they were pulling off consistent matches whenever they got the chance to.

When the Usos won the title before WrestleMania, it seemed to be something new for the division but soon proved to be otherwise as the company decided to dismantle most of the tag teams that were going strong.

At the moment only two established teams in the tag division are the Usos and Wyatt Family with the Rhodes Brothers coming up slowly. If the company needs to reboot the division they would not want to keep the title on Usos.

Having creepy tag team champions is way better than the stale ones at the moment and it will be a fresh direction for the fans as well.

#4 Giving importance to Funkadactyls feud rather than Paige

The Divas champion might’ve stared to show her aggressive side and Paige facing Naomi is an interesting prospect as well since Naomi has improved a lot as a wrestler.

Cameron on the other hand has been shown as a jealous teammate who just can’t keep her mouth closed. The two are sure to break apart at one point or the other but WWE should not let that happen at Money in the Bank.

Paige is having some kind of momentum heading into the match and the last thing she wants is to get overshadowed by two other girls fighting around her.

The WWE divas division is already in a ridiculous stage and their divas champion getting no importance would push this beyond the limit.

#3 Breaking up the Dust brothers

Cody Rhodes getting some paint and coming out as Stardust might be disappointing for some fans that might’ve expecting the much anticipated brother-brother feud.

However on the bigger picture, this is arguably the best thing that has happened to the tag team division which lost all its life after WrestleMania. The team looks fresh with the new character and could have another run that could rejuvenate the tag division.

The way in which WWE can ruin this is to let the two brother fight eachother rather than using them to aid the Wyatt Family and The Usos. The brother-brother match can easily wait till next pay-per-view and the company need not rush and throw away a great possibility.

#2 Squashing Big E

From the start of his main roster run, Rusev has been fed with jobber that provided him with no challenge whatsoever.

The company changed the tactics a bit at Payback where they had Big E face the Bulgarian Brute. However, the way in which they booked the former intercontinental champion wasn’t graceful. Big E had some offence in the match but once the accolade was locked in Big E tapped out fast just like all the other jobbers.

And WWE didn’t have any credible buildup for their second match as well making this one look less important.

The worse thing that WWE could do at the moment would be to let Rusev win this one easy against Big E and make the latter look weak once again.

#1 Randy Orton winning the WWE title

Ever heard of the word déjà vu? Well, it’s going to be just that if Randy Orton manages to climb the ladder and get the title.

Orton last run as the champion turned out to be one of the low points for WWE in recent history and the viper proved to be a failure among the WWE Universe as well. it’s a fact that he didn’t get pinned when he lost the title, but at the current state of Orton’s character, another title run would be disaster.

At the same time, there aren’t many future feuds that WWE could pull off with Randy Orton as champion other than the one with Daniel Bryan.

It will surely be a great continuation as far as the authority storyline is concerned but then again the fans are starting to lose their heat on the whole angle.
