The build up to Wrestlemania has, arguably, heated up. Next week’s Raw will be the go-home show. The last episode is expected to be explosive but this week’s episode was no-less supported by a looming stoyline throughout the night. They pulled it off as flawlessly as they did for the go-home show of Survivor Series. The tag team scene still needs some improvement. This show was helped immensely by a very participative Iowa crowd. It was a place where Seth Rollins grew up but despite all of that he was still remained a heel in character. The night will be remembered for the way it ended. Here are the five promising developments for Raw.

#1 Sting! Sting!

The Iowa crowd led a resounding, redoubtable chant at the end of the night. ‘Sting. Sting.’ was all everyone could think of. It was glorious to see him interfere and wash away the Authority well-thought-out plan. Rollins delivered a good performance which unravelled throughout the night with his team and him playing a ruse of showing that everybody had abandoned their spoiled, little brat. Orton was left alone, unmoved with a chair, by the odds only to have Sting make an appearance with his baseball bat. It was enough for The Authority to go scarmbling away.

#2 Lesnar could not care less.

The video package of Brcok Lesnar is a testament to the how great WWE’s post-production team is and how great a format it is to accentuate what Lesnar is made of. This video package showcased succinctly that Lesnar couldn’t care less about the disappointment of fans at watching their favorites bite the dust and he couldn’t care less about what a big deal Wrestlemania is. He gets paid for decimating somebody and he relishes in that opportunity. His complete lack of passion for the company was highlighted very well. And an indirect reference was that if he leaves, he won’t be bothered about fans being disappointed about his departure.

#3 Barrett finally gets something to boast about

As momentum-killing as his losses have seemed, Bad News Barrett got some breathing space on Monday after an entertaining tag team match between all the participants in the ladder match at Wrestlemania.

The babyface team convincingly won the match but the aftermath of the match was quite important and for the first time in a long time, Barrett elbowed everyone involved in the matchand took the championship that was his to begin with.

The ladder match is expected to be more entertaining than any other match, though.

#4 The U.S Title is still alive

For weeks, if there has been any discussion surrounding bringing back the lost prestige of a title, it has been regarding the Intercontinental title. But on Monday, John Cena’s determination spoke volumes in making his match against Rusev more about the U.S title than anything else. The crowd also missed Lana’s presence. The U.S. title was never as important as the IC title but Cena’s involvement and resolve to win it, is making it seem like a big deal and bringing much attention to this feud.

Also, Rusev ranting about America can never get old.

#5 Timely notice

The WWE continued to sjow its seriousness in giving the female performers some more time and the divas rose up to the occasion and put on a good match wherein they caught the attention of the audience and got the time to get the desired reactions. AJ Lee and Nikki Bella wrestled in one of the better women’s matches in the past couple of years with Brie Bella and Paige at ringside. One of the outstanding moments came when Paige’s head was rammed into the steel post.

This is only a testament to the fact that if given the time, the women seldom disappoint.
