It was an Ambrose-heavy show. He started the night and ended the night standing tall in the ring with the face of the company, John Cena. They have a common enemy in Seth Rollins now. But this episode of Raw did not set anything concrete in motion. It is still not clear what happens with John Cena. Rollins and Ambrose’s feud should continue but where does that leave Cena? Here are the five promising developments from this week.

#1 One Day Wonder

Dolph Ziggler regained the Intercontinental Title a night after he lost it to Hollywood Miz. In a spectacular match, Ziggler’s win received the best pop of the night.

It wasn’t something that was expected but after Ziggler survived a skull-crushing finale, it looked like this was turning into something special. More back and forth followed and Ziggler rolled Miz to regain what he lost a night ago.

Sandow, at this point, is playing Miz’s gimmick better than the Miz is. In a hilarious move, Ziggler clotheslined Miz and immediately delivered the same move to his Stunt Double.

#2 Flying too close to a plane

A Cena and Ambrose face off seems interesting but their chemistry could be lacking, only time will tell. They look like polar opposites. Ambrose does not trust Cena and that was quite logical. It won’t suit Ambrose’s character to suddenly be all respectful to Cena and act like a sidekick. Ambrose’s nature is like a raging storm.

Ambrose was there in almost every hour of the show. He began the show with a fun promo, had another good backstage segment after his lacklustre match with Kane and then ended the night standing tall in the ring.

#3 The tag team division and US Title picture

It looks like the WWE is continuing with these two feuds. Certainly, they delivered the two best matches of the night and a continuation of these two feuds is much deserved.

All these two divisions need is a good storyline. This tag match has been going on for the past many weeks. Its about time they move on to something more meaningful and not just a fun, entertaining match.

#4 Rusev\'s dominance

Mark Henry lost for the second night in a row. Rusev stomped his dominance all over the ring and made the Accolade seem like a really, really painful move. What sold this match better than the one at NoC, was Henry’s performance. The man can bring out emotions like only a few can and that complimented Rusev’s heel tactics. Rusev looked heartless while Henry came out looking courageous. This has done better to better Rusev’s gimmick than many of his previous matches and feuds.

#5 Swagger Vs Bo

These two could have underwhelmed but they managed to have a decent match in the time provided to them. Arguably, the best match of the night goes to Ziggler and Miz but the feud developing between these two is better than what they’ve had to endure in the past few months. Dallas could do better than be in comedy relief segments and Swagger could do better than be an American disappointment or a jobber.
