Naomi Osaka recently shared the highlights of a thrilling day she spent at the ocean, including snippets of her jumping in water from a cruise ship, jet skiing and riding dirt bikes.

Osaka's last appearance on the tennis court was at the 2022 Tokyo Open, while her most recent title victory was at the 2021 Australian Open, where she defeated Jennifer Brady in the final.

In July of this year, the 26-year-old welcomed her first child, Shai, with her boyfriend Cordae. Despite her new role as a mother, she has already resumed her training to work towards her comeback.

In between her preparations for a comeback, Naomi Osaka decided to take a break and spend a day at the ocean. She took to social media to share some highlights of the thrilling day.

In her post, Osaka revealed that her friend and talent manager, Alexandria Boston, had dared her to jump from the edge of a cruise ship into the ocean. Not backing down from a challenge, the four-time Grand Slam champion leaped into the water, whereas, Boston let her nerves get the best of her and decided against taking the plunge.

"Pls...the way she wanted me to jump with her and then chickened out 💀 😭 @alexboston_," Osaka captioned her Instagram story.

Naomi Osaka also posted moments of her jet skiing and riding dirt bikes on the sand.

"Shaky cam is back 🎥 ," she wrote.

Naomi Osaka recently shared an emotional message on social media, delving into her experiences as a new mother and her battle with mental health challenges.

Osaka, who recently had a daughter with rapper Cordae, recently opened up about her journey in overcoming doubts and insecurities as a new parent. She expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering support she received from her fans and loved ones throughout this transformative experience.

In her Instagram post which she shared after turning 26, Osaka expressed gratitude for the gift of another year of life. She extended her appreciation to all those who have unwaveringly believed in her. She also took a moment to reflect on how swiftly the time had flown by, and how she still felt like a kid.

"Where has the time gone? I look back on my life and it feels like I’m rewinding an old VHS tape," she wrote. "It flashes by so quickly and suddenly I’m here in the present. I often try to retrace my steps to figure out how I ended up here. I know I say this often, but I truly still feel like that kid playing on public courts in Queens, NY."

The Japanese also opened up about motherhood, shedding light on how this life-changing experience has profoundly impacted her perspective and tested her self-confidence.

Naomi Osaka confessed to grappling with doubts about her ability to be a nurturing mother. She also expressed the overwhelming sense of wonder and affection she experiences towards her daughter, Shai, and how watching her grow was both amazing and strange.

"Something I had to conquer recently is fighting the thought that I won’t be a good mom," she continued. "So many doubts raced through my head I had to swat them away like mosquitoes. Looking into Shai’s eyes and holding her I always think, ‘wow this little person depends on me so much, I have to do better’. It’s such a strange feeling watching your kid grow, you blink and they’re double the size in a few months."
