3 Things we want to see at Royal Rumble 2019 and 3 we don't

Will Finn Balor defeat Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble to become the new Universal Champion?
Will Finn Balor defeat Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble to become the new Universal Champion?

The plans for one of the big four PPV's is almost finalized, and it's just a matter of time before we see the final card of the Royal Rumble PPV.

This week on Raw, the match between Lesnar and Strowman was called off, as reported the reason for this was WWE's strategy to save Strowman to get pinned clean by Lesnar for one more time. So, they decided to put Balor instead of Strowman to get the pinfall.

Therefore, let's take a look at those things we want to see at the Royal Rumble PPV and the things we don't want to.

#6 Want to see - Becky Lynch wins the women's Royal Rumble and challenges Ronda Rousey for a match at WrestleMania 35

Becky's chances to win the second women's Royal Rumble match are higher, more than ever
Becky's chances to win the second women's Royal Rumble match are higher, more than ever

In the upcoming Royal Rumble 2019, Becky Lynch is the number one favorite to win women's Royal Rumble match and face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35.

Although Becky's entry in the match isn't announced yet, it is believed that she'll be a surprise entrant in the match. As it is speculated that she'll lose her match against Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Championship so that she can win the women's Rumble match later.

However, you can expect WWE to keep Becky's entry in the women's Rumble match to themselves only, as it doesn't make sense from their point of view to announce Becky's involvement in the match since it'll be a clear spoiler of the outcome of her match with Asuka at the PPV.

Therefore, believe it or not, but Becky's chances to win the second women's Royal Rumble match are higher, more than ever.

#5 Don't want to - Brock Lesnar defeat Finn Balor

Lesnar retaining the title against Balor is the only option to book Lesnar vs Rollins at WM 35
Lesnar retaining the title against Balor is the only option to book Lesnar vs Rollins at WM 35

This week on Raw, WWE made some serious changes to their Royal Rumble PPV card. The match between Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar is no longer on the table, instead, Finn Balor has now officially replaced Strowman at Royal Rumble to take on Lensar.

Moreover, Lesnar is still a favorite to retain his title against Balor at the Rumble, while Balor is the underdog going into the match.

Also, Lesnar is believed to work at WrestleMania 35 too, and if he loses the Universal Championship to Balor at Royal Rumble PPV, then he can't face Seth Rollins at WM, therefore Lesnar retaining the title against Balor is the only option to book Lesnar vs Rollins at WM 35.

Therefore, Rollins vs Lesnar matchup sounds interesting to me, but if it has to happen by Lensar pinning Balor clean then I must say it's absolutely one of those things that we don't want to see happening at the Royal Rumble PPV, no matter what.

#4 Want to see - An end to Bryan vs Styles feud

Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles
Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles

Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles have been involved in a feud for an unspeakable amount of time. Their feud started when Bryan defeated The Miz at WWE Super Show-Down last year to fetch an opportunity of Styles' WWE Championship.

Since then the two men are involved in a quarrel on and off including a brawl at the concession stand on SmackDown Live.

And now, for one more time, "The New Daniel Bryan" and "The Real AJ Styles", are all set to take on each other at Royal Rumble PPV with the WWE Championship on the line.

Though their feud has been an overall success, it shouldn't go on longer than this. We've seen all the things that their feud could offer us and now it's time to put a stop to it.

#3 Don't want to - Charlotte Flair wins the women's Royal Rumble and challenges Ronda Rousey for a match at WrestleMania 35

Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair is the second favorite to win the second annual women's Royal Rumble match and then to go on to finish things with Ronda Rousey, what started last year at Survivor Series PPV.

As many of you already know, WWE wants a triple threat match at WrestleMania 35 between Ronda, Charlotte and Becky Lynch. One of the possibility to do it is, make Charlotte win the women's Royal Rumble match and make Rousey cost Lynch the SmackDown Women's Title. This way Becky would somehow find a way to fight Rousey at WM 35.

Though this idea of setting up this triple threat match seems great, if Lynch loses her title match at Rumble and fails to win the Women's RR match later, then it will possibly kill her ongoing momentum and bring her to the limelight, which is not the thing we want to see happen.

#2 Want to see - Seth Rollins wins the men's Royal Rumble and challenges Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 for Universal Championship

Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins

As you already know, these two men have already faced each other in the past a few times. And now for one more time, Seth Rollins could possibly face Lesnar for Universal Championship real soon.

Rollins is the current number one favorite to win this year's men's Royal Rumble match and face Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 35.

Therefore, Rollins winning this year's Rumble is one of those things that we all want to see, more than anything else.

#1 Don't want to - The Rock returns and win the men's Royal Rumble and challenges Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 for Universal Championship

The Rock
The Rock

The Rock is ranked in current top-five favorites to win this year's Men's Royal Rumble match. Also, last year it was rumored that The Rock is in talks with WWE to return at the end of this month and to win the Royal Rumble match and go on to face Brock Lesnar for one more time.

Though a matchup between "The Great One" and "The Beast Incarnate" sounds great, we are in the new-era now this match no longer seems to be one of those matches fans will ask for.

Therefore, if The Rock returns and wins the men's Rumble match, it'll bring several other superstars to the limelight, which isn't a thing we want to see.
