3 WWE Superstars who could challenge Brock Lesnar after SummerSlam

Brock Lesnar, who is the current Universal Champion, is set to face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. The Beast Incarnate had a memorable night at Extreme Rules where he cashed in the Money in the Bank to win the Universal Championship. The victory at Extreme Rules meant that Lesnar is now a three-time Universal Champion.

Lesnar has been in the Universal Title picture for a long time. After defeating Goldberg at WrestleMania 33, the Beast held the belt for 504 days, which was the longest World Title reign in the modern era. Moreover, his second title reign lasted six months before he lost to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35.

Bryan and Lesnar are no strangers to each other as they crossed paths last year. The two men had a match at Survivor Series where they locked horns in a Champion vs Champion bout. While a large number of fans speculated an easy victory for the Beast, Bryan went toe-to-toe with Lesnar and put in a scintillating performance. After a spectacular battle, Lesnar managed to pin Bryan for the victory.

Though Bryan and Lesnar have faced each other in the past, they have never enjoyed a lengthy rivalry. Moreover, Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman considers the former as the best performer of Vince McMahon's company. Thus, a feud with Lesnar could be on the cards.

Bobby Lashley could be an ideal opponent for Brock Lesnar and it could be a dream rivalry for the fans. Lashley enjoyed a stupendous feud with Braun Strowman recently. and it probably ended at Extreme Rules. Hence, at the moment, he is searching for a new rivalry.

Since Lashley returned to the WWE last year, the fans have been vocal about a match between the Beast Incarnate and Lashley. The two-time Intercontinental Champion has a similar background to the former as he too was an MMA fighter.

Apart from a similar background, Lashley is well built and he is one of the strongest men in the WWE. Though he hasn't been involved in the main event scene after his return, he has the required attributes to feature in the title picture against Lesnar.
