The 12th edition of the WWE King of the Ring tournament is underway with another quarterfinal round on SmackDown. The weeks leading up to the event have witnessed jaw-dropping qualifying matches to unfortunate removals and omissions that impacted a few WWE stars' careers.

Recently, Tiffany Stratton came under fire by fans on social media for uploading a fan-made video targeted at Jade Cargill. Nowadays, WWE has been keeping track of stars' activities in and out of the ring, taking necessary steps to ensure no one receiving backlash is pushed to the top. The young star has a promising run on SmackDown where she officially signed in February this year.

If the 25-year-old is forced to surrender her spot in the Queen of the Ring quarterfinals match against Bianca Belair on SmackDown this week, below is a list of potential replacements:

#4. Naomi

WWE fans shared an immense outpour of love and fondness for Naomi upon her return earlier this year.

The former women's champion recently faced Bayley at Backlash in a Triple Threat match for the WWE Women's Championship. Despite a loss, fans are ecstatic with her performances. The 36-year-old has participated in all key matches and events, including Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 40.

Her SmackDown teammates - Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill- are already in the tournament. However, Tiffany Stratton is set to face The EST of WWE, making Naomi's addition dicey.

Given how they have already earned the Women's Tag Team titles, Naomi could take over Tiffany Stratton's spot and win the Queen of the Ring title, establishing her triumphant comeback. It could lead to issues among the trio later on, but the current scenario paves the way for all to hold titles in their way.

#3. Elektra Lopez

The former NXT star showed up on the blue brand in January to even the numbers game in LWO's feud against Legado Del Fantasma. A feud ensued between Zelina Vega and Elektra Lopez.

The 32-year-old worked on her wrestling resume on NXT and worked her way up the roster. A couple of months ago, she defeated Vega in a singles match on SmackDown, which made her stance clear.

Elektra Lopez would be an apt addition to the Queen of the Ring tournament, especially if she proceeds to win and be Zelina Vega's successor. Thus proving her ability to take on any task to the fullest.

#2. Blair Davenport

The 28-year-old was moved to SmackDown in the WWE Draft. She has yet to compete in her first match on the blue brand.

Blair Davenport has an extensive background from NXT UK before it was merged with the main brand. The SmackDown star could replace Tiffany Stratton in the quarterfinals, enabling her to cement her mark within the roster and build a rapport with the WWE Universe.

Davenport also won the Women's Iron Survivor Match on NXT last year, making her a tough competitor in tournaments.

#1. Raquel Rodriguez could replace Stratton on SmackDown

Raquel Rodriguez maintained an impressionable run within two years on the WWE main roster. The 33-year-old last competed at Elimination Chamber in February this year.

Due to a knee injury, Rodriguez has been on an unfortunate streak of missing out of active competition in 2023. A few months later, a bad flare-up of mast cell activation syndrome affected her to compete at full strength. The former champion has been enjoying her time away from the ring with her family and close friends, which is evident from her regular social media updates.

While Tiffany Stratton will get the wrong end of the stick, what better way could Raquel Rodriguez make her WWE comeback via the Queen of the Ring Tournament?

It is important to note that Rodriguez was not a part of the 2024 WWE Draft, and her free agency status remains unknown.
