The former WWE Champion had to undergo another surgery. Early signs suggested that it was a minor surgery, but some reports have revealed that it was actually a serious one for Jinder Mahal.

Edge - May Not Return

In his first year back, and after his second singles match since his return, Edge suffered an injury which required surgery. In his match against Randy Orton at Backlash, Edge suffered a triceps injury, which could keep him out for the rest of 2020.
The Rated-R Superstar provided an update on his injury and how long he will be out for, in a recent interview.
"It’s so hard to tell in that initial kind of two months where it’s at and where everything is. I’ve always been happy with the fact that I rebound from injuries pretty quickly. I got back from a torn Achilles in six months which is kind of stupid. Back to the point of how long? I don’t know I’m just going to listen to my body and truly listen to my body, make sure I have self care, which I never really paid attention to before."
Dave Meltzer had said that triceps injuries usually keep a wrestler out of action for anywhere between 6 and 8 months, which rules out a return for the former WWE Champion this year.
