5. Dolph Ziggler
Fans might not realize it, but, Ziggler is among the most experienced wrestlers on the current roster. From being a cheerleader in the Spirit Squad (A male cheerleading squad!!), Chavo Guerrero’s caddy, Vickie Guerrero’s boy toy and currently a diligent baby face; he has essayed multiple characters with élan.
His fan base is not as massive as some of the other baby faces in the company, but, it is a loyal fan base. Fans love him because he is a true underdog. Despite being one of the smaller guys (according to Vince that is.), he has ruled the mid-card. Even with the limited opportunities that he gets, he capitalizes on them and gives the fans a visual treat in the ring.
His rock star persona, flashy moves like the Zig-Zag and Famasser along with his penchant for high-risk spots in matches makes him a fan favorite. His hard slog and athletic ability are admirable, though, they have earned him more reverence than titles. But, without any doubt, it’s resources like him that make companies like the WWE a success.
