5 biggest questions SummerSlam left us with

Rollins wins!
Rollins wins!

The 32nd edition of The Biggest Party of the Summer is in the history books. WWE SummerSlam 2019 is done and dusted with, and the PPV sure ended up giving the WWE Universe a bunch of memorable moments.

Bray Wyatt debuted his 'Fiend' tonight to take on longtime rival Finn Balor and emerged victorious without losing a sweat. Becky Lynch defeated Canada's own Natalya with her signature move the Disarm Her, while in the main event, Seth Rollins put down The Beast again.

Now that the dust has settled down, it's time to move forward and look into what the immediate future has in store for WWE Superstars. Let's take a look at 5 big questions SummerSlam 2019 left us with.

#5 Who will Wyatt target next?

The Fiend
The Fiend

The Fiend finally made his in-ring return tonight at SummerSlam in front of a white-hot Toronto crowd. Finn Balor was Wyatt's first victim upon his big return a few weeks on Monday Night Raw.

These two Superstars had previously squared off at a SummerSlam event two years ago, with Balor donning the persona of The Demon, and picking up the win. This time though, Wyatt's Fiend was too much for Balor, who wasn't in his Demon garb. A Mandible Claw put Balor down and Wyatt emerged victorious.

After one of the most dominant debuts we've seen so far this year, what's next for The Fiend? Will he turn his attention towards destroying mid-carders and jobbers for a while, or will another major Superstar be his next victim? Hopefully, we get these answers on the upcoming Monday Night Raw episode.

WWE has something incredibly special and promising in the form of Wyatt, and giving him a series of victories over major stars such as Balor would help him gain back his steam that he had lost before his return.

#4 Will we be seeing Matt Riddle on the main roster soon?

Matt Riddle
Matt Riddle

How long has it been since Matt Riddle took shots at Goldberg for blocking him on Twitter? The King of Bros was at SummerSlam tonight, and participated in the SummerSlam Watch Along. The live stream saw Riddle shocking everyone by revealing that he and Goldberg came face to face earlier in the night. Riddle and Goldberg apparently had a brief exchange of words, after which they parted ways.

Goldberg destroyed Dolph Ziggler in his big return, wowing the Toronto fans by hitting him with several thunderous spears. As we're moving ahead, it seems more and more likely that WWE is setting up a match between Riddle and Goldberg somewhere down the line.

There wouldn't be a bigger main roster debut for Riddle than to confront Goldberg and challenge him to a match. The rub Goldberg could give Riddle will prove to be a legit boost for his career.

#3 Is WWE building towards a big Survivor Series match?

Will it happen?
Will it happen?

Tonight, The Fiend defeated Finn Balor by applying The Mandible Claw on him. This wasn't the only spot involving Balor that made fans watch in awe tonight. Earlier in the night, The Club confronted Balor backstage.

AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson talked about taking care of Ricochet tonight, and followed it up with bringing up The Fiend. Styles offered help to Balor and stated that if Balor needs their assistance, he just needs to say when.

The Club then exited the locker room as Balor looked on. Is WWE building towards something big? Could we see Balor turn heel sometime in the near future, and join The Club?

Survivor Series is still around 3 months away, and the time frame seems enough to bring up The Undisputed Era to the main roster and build towards a 4-on-4 Survivor Series Elimination Match! This battle was recently teased on Twitter and has left fans clamoring for it since then.

#2 What's next for "The Man"?

Lynch and Natalya
Lynch and Natalya

After weeks of incredible promos and brutal insults thrown at each other, Becky Lynch and Natalya finally locked horns tonight, with The Man coming out the victor. A hard-fought Submission Match ended with Lynch successfully applying the Disarm Her on Natalya and making her tap out to it. Following her historic win at WrestleMania, Becky Lynch has put down several women on the roster. What's next?

Many were hoping for Sasha Banks to return at SummerSlam and kick off a feud with Lynch, but that didn't happen. It doesn't look like Ronda Rousey will be coming back anytime soon.

Will Sasha Banks return as soon as tomorrow night? Or will WWE bring in a new challenger for Lynch and elevate a mid-carder in the process? A twist could see WWE bringing up someone from NXT to begin a feud with Lynch.

#1 Is Lesnar out of the title picture now?

Will we see this visual again?
Will we see this visual again?

Seth Rollins did what Roman Reigns took around three years to do - he defeated Brock Lesnar in the middle of the ring at SummerSlam. This time though, The Beastslayer didn't need a bunch of low blows. The finish saw Rollins kicking Lesnar in the face and hitting him with a Curb Stomp for the win. Lesnar lost the title at WrestleMania 35, won it back by utilizing his Money In The Bank contract, and has now lost it again to Rollins.

Is this it for Lesnar as far as the title goes? The feud has been done to death at this point, and the WWE Universe certainly won't appreciate more back-and-forth between Lesnar and Rollins moving forward. Either Lesnar will take one of his long breaks where he disappears from WWE TV for weeks on end, or he just might get involved in a feud with someone not named Rollins.
