Could something like this be on the cards for WrestleMania 35?
Could something like this be on the cards for WrestleMania 35?

WWE has set itself on acceleration mode on the Road to WrestleMania. The 35th edition of the show will be presented on April 7 from the MetLife Stadium, New Jersey. The show promises to be an explosive affair with hot contests, and the possibility of women closing the show. Yes, in a moment that will change everything in regards to how women have been perceived in wrestling, 3 women could be headlining the biggest show in pro-wrestling.

There is no doubt that a woman closing WrestleMania will always be remembered for a long time, and talked of like some of the greatest moments in the annual event's history. Yet, there are other possible moments that will make the show very special. We present to you 5 of some epic 'WrestleMania moments' that WWE should give us on their biggest show.

#1 The Undertaker shares the ring with Sting

The Undertaker's fans should now accept the fact that the Deadman has possibly finished his wrestling career. Unless drastic changes happen, The Undertaker has been only been scheduled to make a cameo appearance at WrestleMania 35.

It must be disheartening for wrestling fans, as many fans still want to see the Deadman have a farewell match. That match will at-least not happen on April 7.

We will cherish every appearance this legend makes in the ring. And, this appearance can be very memorable if another legend interrupts him. The legend is 'The Vigilante' Sting.

Sting vs The Undertaker was one dream match that could never happen. People have dreamed for the two icons to collide, but the stars never aligned when the time was right for this match to happen.

Obviously, it'l most likely never happen, but the sight of these two legendary icons in the ring will be enough to give goosebumps to wrestling fans. The moment will surely go down as one of the most memorable in 'Mania history.

This is one thing that just needs to happen at 'Mania, so many wrestling fans can find their lives becoming a little more complete.

#2 Drew McIntyre takes down John Cena

John Cena had been rumored to face Lars Sullivan at this year's WrestleMania before the latter unfortunately had an anxiety attack. Sullivan's absence meant that the Champ had nothing leading up to the grand event at all. Then, reports came up that Cena might not be available to appear on WWE until WrestleMania.

But some other recent reports have also stated that some people backstage have been pushing for a ‘Cena vs. McIntyre' bout on the show. Well, WWE should be wise to have Cena vs. McIntyre on the WrestleMania card.

Even if Cena can't appear on TV during the buildup to the match, WWE can use promos and pre-taped videos to build the rivalry. This match will give the card a non-title bout that will live through the test of time. Moreover, Drew McIntyre should go over John Cena in what should be a modern day 'Mania classic.

McIntyre has all the potential to become a World Champion. He certainly has the potential, and this victory over John Cena will go a long way in establishing him as the best big man in the WWE at present.

#3 Kurt Angle says goodbye

Kurt Angle returned to WWE in almost a decade, entering the ‘Hall of Fame’ in the Class of 2017. The Olympic Gold medalist has had one of the greatest careers in pro-wrestling, spending most of his time in WWE and TNA/Impact Wrestling.

However, age has caught up with the legend, and at 50-years-old, he has got his wrestling days well behind him. Reports have stated that Angle has recently been in bad physical condition, and WWE has been concerned about his health. In fact, it has been said that Kurt Angle can 'barely move' well.

Angle has nothing left to achieve in the business. He has done it all, carving his name among the greatest performers in pro-wrestling history. So, it feels the perfect time for Kurt Angle to say goodbye. And, WWE should give him a fitting send-off at WrestleMania 35.

#4 Seth Rollins ‘slays' the Beast

So, Brock Lesnar will be a part of yet another Universal Championship match at WrestleMania. It will be the third consecutive Championship match for Lesnar on WWE's biggest show. He had defeated Reigns at the last installment of WrestleMania, having defeated Goldberg for the title the year before.

Seth Rollins did some of his best work over the last year. He has continuously stolen shows and put on classics. Most recently, Rollins won the Royal Rumble to book himself a ticket to WrestleMania, where he has chosen to fight The Beast Incarnate.

Now, it's obvious that McMahon loves Lesnar. In spite of Lesnar's lackluster schedule, he has been strongly pushed as the company's champion in recent years. However, it's time that Lesnar passes on the Universal Championship. He has held the title for too much time in the last few years, keeping the title absent from television most of the time.

The time is right for The Architect to burn down Suplex City, and what better occasion than WrestleMania 35?

#5 The McMahons rob Becky Lynch of the Women's Championship

There aren't too many people who'd digest a loss for Lynch
There aren't too many people who'd digest a loss for Lynch

Becky Lynch is presently the hottest act in WWE. Just a mere mention of her name is enough to draw the emotion of a wrestling fan at the moment. Very few Superstars have ever received this kind of support.

And, this is exactly why WWE should take a gamble, and let Lynch lose at WrestleMania 35. It's pretty hard to support stealing a great 'Mania moment from everyone. Yet, it should happen because it'll lead to bigger things in the future. Yes, it's the company's job to give the fans what they want, but Lynch's story hasn't gone long enough to already give her this huge victory.

WWE should trust Lynch and her ability to bring people to watch the show in spite of a defeat. While Becky Lynch winning will be a once in a lifetime moment, her loss will be one of the most controversial, albeit epic, moments in history. WWE will receive a ton of hate, but it'll also receive a chance to tell a greater story with 'The Man' Becky Lynch.
