WWE has quite a lucrative deal with Saudi Arabia right now, so much so that The Undertaker opted to miss this year's WrestleMania in order to instead make an appearance at the upcoming Saudi Arabia show where he is expected to face Elias, given the antics on the Raw After WrestleMania.
The Prince of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gave WWE a list ahead of their first show in The Middle East last year where he revealed all the stars that they wanted as part of the show, including The Immortal Hulk Hogan and even a few superstars who were dead like The Ultimate Warrior and Yokozuna.
Crown Jewel saw WWE continue to pull out all of the stops for the Prince who is seemingly funding the company quite nicely as they continue to book some of the biggest legends in the company, which means that this year's show could be much bigger and include some familiar faces.
If WWE made this year's show all about putting on some of the best fantasy matches of our time, here are just five that could happen at June's show in The Middle East.
#5 Sasha Banks and Bayley vs Trish Stratus and Lita
The Saudi Arabia show is a long way out since the company doesn't look set to stage it until June, which means that Sasha Banks and Bayley could already have the Women's Tag Team Championships back by then. There's a rumor that Banks will be making her return to WWE at Money in the Bank and another that states that the women of WWE could be given a match in The Middle East this year, so it'll be interesting to see how accurate this is.
Of course, Banks and Bayley have been building towards this match for months and it was hoped that the company would allow it to happen at WrestleMania, but instead, Beth Phoenix was the only WWE Hall of Famer who was made part of the match.
The Women's Tag Team Championships would become the first Women's Championships defended in Saudi Arabia if the company allowed it and they would then have to be referred to as World Championships since they have been defended outside of North America.
#4 Shawn Michaels vs Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan's wrestling career started at Shawn Michaels training school and even though the former World Champion wasn't seen as a hands-on teacher at the time, Bryan and Michaels still have a lot of history with one another.
A few years back WWE decided to bring their history into a WWE storyline, when Triple H was trying to prevent Bryan from winning the World Championship, something that didn't work out well for him.
Whilst Michaels has stated many times that he's not open to a match against Bryan, the fact that HBK returned to the ring back in November for a one-off match against The Undertaker and Kane proves that he could be convinced if the money is right.
It is rumored that the Prince is a huge fan of The Heartbreak Kid, which means that he will definitely be pushing for his inclusion as part of this year's show.
#3 Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar
Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar back at WrestleMania earlier this month when he was able to overcome the fact that the match was made first on the card and become the Universal Champion.
Lesnar hasn't been seen on WWE TV or in a WWE ring ever since as rumors of a return to UFC continue to heat up. Brock Lesnar still has a rematch clause for that Championship, a clause that he can cash in at any time whilst Rollins holds the title and surely Saudi Arabia would be a better option than if he waited and decided to return and main event SummerSlam once again.
Since the match between Rollins and Lesnar wasn't what many fans predicted it would be at WrestleMania, hopefully in Saudi Arabia this would be seen as a much more competitive match.
#2 Finn Balor vs Kane
Finn Balor calls himself The Demon King, over the past few years he has been bringing The Demon to the ring with him and he has been helping him to win some high profile matches including the one against Bobby Lashley back at WrestleMania.
Before Balor unveiled his Demon, there was only one Demon in WWE and that was The Devil's Favourite Demon, Kane. Interestingly, The Big Red Machine has recently started talking openly about making a return to the ring even though he's moved into a career in politics.
Kane was part of Crown Jewel back in November, so there's nothing really stopping him from traveling out there once again to be part of this year's show and part of a match that would pit Demon against Demon for the first time.
#1 Sting vs The Undertaker
One Superstar who has already been confirmed for this year's show in Saudi Arabia is The Undertaker. The Deadman opted to make the trip to The Middle East since the money for being part of the show is much more than WrestleMania, but right now his match is yet to be made official.
One man who has been looking to face The Undertaker for a long time is Sting, who has stated that he will never fully retire until he's given that match. The Undertaker's match at Crown Jewel last year proved that his best days are definitely behind him, but the Saudi Arabian fans ate it up because he's a legend.
If WWE were hoping to ever put Sting and The Undertaker in the same ring against a fanbase that wouldn't boo them out of the building then it's obvious that Saudi Arabia is the only place where that would happen.
