Sheamus played an important role in putting over Drew McIntyre as a credible professional wrestler during the latter's initial years in the business. It looks like this story will be revisited now that Survivor Series is done with.

Over the last few weeks, The Scottish Psychopath and The Celtic Warrior have been interacting backstage despite portraying a babyface and a heel, respectively. The 2012 Royal Rumble winner also told the current WWE Champion about his desire to reform their team.

These segments, along with the history between both of these Superstars, have left the fans clamoring for a feud between the two.

It looks like a McIntyre/Sheamus program is on the horizon following Survivor Series. As evident from the Roman Reigns/Jey Uso feud, WWE hits it out of the park with programs rooted in reality.

For the fans who have followed McIntyre's journey throughout the independent circuit, Sheamus' betrayal, along with the feud that would follow, could end up being a tearjerker.

But before this feud kicks off, Sheamus has to gain momentum, and his impressive performance at Survivor Series can be a good starting point.
