5 feuds that could start after Clash of Champions 2019

Will Taker come for Reigns' aid again?
Will Taker come for Reigns' aid again?

Clash of Champions is in the history books. The PPV ended with The Fiend standing tall over a fallen Seth Rollins, who had defeated Braun Strowman to retain his Universal title minutes ago. Additionally, Becky Lynch still holds her Raw Women's title that she had won way back at WrestleMania 35, but things aren't as simple as they sound here. Sasha Banks won the match by disqualification after Lynch hit the referee with a chair.

WWE is going all the way with Kofi Kingston's WWE title reign, as he defeated Randy Orton in clean fashion tonight to retain his belt. Also, Luke Harper's return resulted in Rowan defeating The Big Dog Roman Reigns! Now that all is said and done, let's take a look at 5 feuds that could possibly start after the PPV, as we head towards Hell in a Cell.

#5 The Miz vs Sami Zayn

Miz and Zayn
Miz and Zayn

The Miz headed to the ring tonight with one goal in mind: to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura and become the Intercontinental Champion. After SummerSlam, Nakamura formed an alliance with Sami Zayn and the two Superstars targeted The Miz on more occasions than one. A match was set for Clash of Champions, and things didn't end well for The Miz.

Zayn was ringside throughout the match and provided enough distraction to help Nakamura hit a Kinshasa on The Miz and retain his title. The villains celebrated after Nakamura's win, as the referee checked on The Miz. It's a given that The Miz won't let this one slide so easily, and one can expect him to target Sami Zayn this week, which might lead to a short-lived feud between the two. After making quick work of Zayn, The Miz can go back to feuding with Nakamura and win the Intercontinental title.

#4 Matt Riddle vs Goldberg

Riddle and Goldberg
Riddle and Goldberg

This was a heavily rumored rivalry after SummerSlam was done and dusted with, but nothing came out of it. It seemed like everyone had forgotten about this months-long social media feud between Goldberg and Matt Riddle, but this thing is far from being done. Just when fans thought that it's over between the two, Goldberg took a shot at Riddle in an interview, with the news coming out mere hours before Clash of Champions.

Matt who?. I don’t even know who that is. I don’t answer questions about people who haven’t made it yet. Riddle has a long way to go.

If you look at Matt's history on social media, there's absolutely no chance he won't reply to Goldberg. Imagine the rub Riddle would get if WWE actually gives us a match between the two, preferably at Survivor Series, with Riddle coming out on top! Don't be surprised if this feud gets into the ring soon.

#3 Ziggler & Roode vs The Viking Raiders

The celebration to end Raw
The celebration to end Raw

Tonight, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler met Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman in a Raw Tag Team title match. A chaotic ending resulted in Roode hitting a Glorious DDT on Rollins, and pinning him to win the belts for his team. This makeshift team of Roode and Ziggler now holds the tag gold on the red brand.

A heel vs heel feud between these two and The OC doesn't make sense at this point. So who will feud with Ziggler and Roode? On the latest episode of Raw, The Viking Raiders had a strong showing in the main event and were there for the celebration to end the show, alongside Steve Austin.

Was their placement in the main event match on Raw a sign of things to come? We might be in for a feud between Raiders and the duo of Roode and Ziggler, and it could kick-off as early as tonight on Raw. There's almost no chance that Rollins and Strowman will try to realign and get back the titles.

#2 Bayley vs Liv Morgan

It's time
It's time

Tonight, Bayley met Charlotte Flair in a SmackDown Live Women's title match. This bout didn't last long, and Bayley pulled Charlotte down on the exposed turnbuckle, followed by a quick pin. Now, WWE could continue this rivalry and keep Charlotte in the title picture, or give us something fresh and finally bring out the new Liv Morgan.

Let Charlotte come out and announce that she wants another shot at Bayley. Suddenly, Morgan's new music hits and out comes the new and improved, much darker version of Morgan. A victory over Flair, followed by a title shot and another victory over Bayley is a sure-fire way to get Morgan over with the fans as a legit top star.

#1 The Bludgeon Brothers vs Roman Reigns and?

Reigns and Taker
Reigns and Taker

After a long and slow buildup, Rowan and Roman Reigns finally met tonight inside the ring, at Clash of Champions. A while ago, it was revealed that Rowan was the mastermind behind the attacks on Reigns. Tonight, the return of Luke Harper resulted in Rowan hitting an Iron Claw on Reigns to pick up the big win.

Prepare to witness a tag team feud heading into Hell in a Cell, with Roman Reigns trying to find a partner to take on the reunited Bludgeon Brothers. Who will align with Reigns? Will it be Bryan? Or will The Undertaker come back again to aid The Big Dog? Or will Reigns make it a point to settle things on his own? The possibilities are endless.
