WWE and the creative team led by Triple H received massive praise from fans following Money in the Bank 2025. Naomi and Seth Rollins won the briefcase in their respective MITB Ladder Matches, R-Truth made a shocking return, Jacob Fatu turned on Solo Sikoa, among other happenings at the PLE. However, the overall reception towards HHH and the Stamford-based company has steadily declined over the past few months.

Hence, the freshly concluded PLE was a huge win for the Stamford-based company, and if The Game does not want fans to turn on them further, here are five mistakes he should not make after Money in the Bank:

#5. Naomi fails to cash in after Money in the Bank

Since Jade Cargill returned at Elimination Chamber and took out Naomi, it was revealed that the latter was the mystery assailant who had attacked The Storm backstage in November 2024. Following that, she confessed to Bianca Belair that she was responsible for the assault on Cargill, and turned heel. This unhinged version of the 37-year-old has fans excited.

Now that The Glow has won the Money in the Bank briefcase, all eyes are on her. She has up to a year to cash in on any women's champion she wants. Should either Cargill or Belair win a title before that, it could be great storytelling if Naomi cashes in while the two powerhouses are battling for the gold. Not only would this give The Glow a title run that she deserves, but it would also elevate her storyline with her former friends.

#4. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair’s possible tag team gets nixed

Fans watching the May 9 episode of SmackDown were shocked to see Alexa Bliss wanting to have a chat with Charlotte Flair. This was a backstage segment that has yet to play out completely. The WWE Universe was excited about the possibility of seeing the once-bitter foes possibly teaming up. Unfortunately, this is where many fans are concerned about their future, as WWE has a habit of teasing storylines but never committing to them.

Speculation has the two former World Champions forming a tag team, which would be new for The Queen. There have also been fan theories that a heel supergroup with Flair, Bliss, Nia Jax, and the newly crowned Ms. Money in the Bank could be in the works to take on the flourishing younger talents on the main roster. Fans just hope this backstage segment plays out in the future, as neither woman is involved in a proper feud on the blue brand.

#3. Jey Uso holds the World Heavyweight Title till SummerSlam

The biggest criticism of Triple H’s bookings is that everything seems predictable. Wrestling fans loved being shocked by sudden title changes, and having a Money in the Bank briefcase in the mix does make that happen. Jey Uso, the current World Heavyweight Champion, hasn’t done much since winning the title from Gunther at WrestleMania 41. While he has held on to the title so far, there has not been much of a story behind it.

With Rollins holding the Money in the Bank briefcase, it would make sense for The Architect to cash in and take the title he already declared he wants. Cutting Uso’s title run short with a sudden cash-in would shock the fans and make The Yeet Master the underdog again. This would also fuel his animosity against The Visionary and his team. Having Uso hold the belt until SummerSlam would drag an already criticised title run to a point where fans would be happy he lost it, rather than being upset.

#2. Goldberg beating Gunther in his retirement match

Since Bad Blood 2024, WWE has teased Goldberg facing Gunther for the former's retirement match. While it was previously reported to be scheduled for WrestleMania 41, it was moved back. This is a bout that fans don’t really want since Da Man did everything he could during his last run in the company. Moreover, fans do not want Gunther to lose the clash.

At WrestleMania 41, Gunther's tapping out to Jey Uso made him look weak. At Backlash, he faced Pat McAfee, and the ring announcer posed a threat to the former World Heavyweight Champion during the match. If WWE plans on rebuilding The Ring General as the force he used to be, he should not lose to Goldberg.

#1. LA Knight’s bad booking continues

LA Knight was the fan favourite to win this year's Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. However, for the third year in a row, it did not happen. Fans have called out WWE and Triple H for this lacklustre booking of one of the company’s most over stars. Knight has not done much despite having two US Title runs.

If this odd booking continues, it will derail The Megastar’s credibility even more after the Money in the Bank loss. A good heel turn after failing so many times would be the perfect way to salvage his WWE career. Either that or Triple H needs to start booking him better than he previously did.
