5 reasons why Dean Ambrose won't accept AEW's massive deal

Dean Ambrose didn't fight at WrestleMania 35. Seemingly, he has also left the company.

This week, he was going to fight his final WWE match against Bobby Lashley, but the latter attacked him before it could begin. Fans believe that Ambrose is no longer a WWE employee. But according to rumors, he will continue working in live events until the end of this month.

Another story claimed that WWE's newest rival, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has offered Ambrose an enormous amount of money to join the company and work in a much lighter schedule as compared to WWE.

It is a massive deal Ambrose never got from Vince McMahon. The question in everyone's mind right now is if he will join AEW. Let's take a look at 5 reasons why The Lunatic Fringe may not accept this deal.

#5 Money isn't his priority

Ambrose doesn't work for money only
Ambrose doesn't work for money only

Dean Ambrose has already indicated that he isn't interested in money. He wants more creative freedom.

In WWE, Ambrose was getting a considerable amount of money, but his character was going nowhere. He didn't become the main event Superstar fans assumed he would be. Ambrose wants decent storylines which he wasn't getting in WWE. His main event push was also brief as compared to other Superstars which could be another reason for him leaving. It's clear that Ambrose's top priority isn't money.

If AEW doesn't guarantee him proper storylines and a decent push, he may not shake hands with them. $ 6 million is more than what Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are getting right now, and it would be interesting to see if Ambrose signs with AEW or not.

#4 He wants to rebuild himself in the independent circuit

AEW is a new promotion. They don't even have a television deal right now. When it comes to rebuilding a wrestler's career, an independent circuit seems a safer option. Wrestlers like Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes made their name working for independent wrestling promotions. It helped them a lot, and now, their career is thriving.

WWE has already damaged Ambrose's character, and now the Superstar wants to rebuild it. The Lunatic Fringe once worked as Jon Moxley during his time in the indies. He gained a lot of attention for his fantastic work, but his legacy has taken bumps in the past few years. Ambrose wants to rebuild himself, and it is why he's leaving WWE. Even though AEW seems a better place to build careers because this promotion is new, right? No.

Cody and The Young Bucks have already signed several WWE Superstars, and I don't think everyone will become a "megastar” here. Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes and Pac (Neville) - the competition is already so high here that it doesn't make sense for Ambrose to join this promotion for rebuilding himself.

So Ambrose might reject AEW's offer and spend some time in the Independent Circuit before joining a major wrestling promotion.

#3 Vince McMahon will offer Ambrose something better

How will Vince convince Ambrose to stay
How will Vince convince Ambrose to stay

Even though several wrestlers have gotten the best deal of their life in AEW, it doesn't matter much to Vince McMahon.

WWE is still the world's biggest wrestling promotion, and there's no way AEW could take that away from them easily. There's a reason why WWE is at the top. WCW, ECW, and TNA tried to surpass WWE but failed.

Vince knows the value of Ambrose, and it is a reason why he won't let him leave easily. Being WWE's owner, he made billions. So it's no surprise that he can offer a better contract to Ambrose (than AEW) with more creative freedom. And there's no reason why Ambrose would leave WWE if Vince is willing to fulfill his demands.

Plus, there's no other fanbase better than the WWE Universe which could be another reason why Ambrose might not make a deal with AEW.

#2 Dean Ambrose has burnt out

A few weeks ago, Booker T, on his podcast, revealed that Dean Ambrose will not join AEW. According to the former champion, Ambrose just burnt out and needs some time off from the ring.

He thinks that The Lunatic Fringe will rest at home for some times (probably months) before stepping feet in WWE again. I know it's just Booker T's opinion and it might not be true. But, he is also a wrestler, he knows the pressure this job can give at times.

It's also a strong reason why I believe what he said. Ambrose knows his value in WWE, and if he rests some time, then the pressure might go away. Another thing Ambrose could do is to return to the independent circuit. Why? Mainly because wrestlers don't have to focus on storylines, they just get booked for matches. After some months, Ambrose could return to WWE again.

#1 WWE's departure could be a work

Is it a work?
Is it a work?

When WWE reported that Dean Ambrose is going to leave the company, many fans thought it’s a work.

Ambrose's current situation is similar to that of CM Punk a few years ago. He left Vince McMahon's company with the WWE Championship, and some fans thought it's real. Kevin Owens quit Raw a few months ago only to return a week later.

WWE could have planned something similar for Ambrose as well. Even though it seems like a real-life situation, we should not forget that Vince has kept many things as a secret before. And he can do that this time as well.

Maybe Ambrose's departure saga is a work, and if it is, then there's no point of him accepting AEW's contract.

These are my top 5 reasons why Dean Ambrose might not join All Elite Wrestling. Do you think Ambrose is going to stay with WWE?
