5 shortest title reigns in WWE history

Sheamus even came out with a new shirt to commemorate Roman Reigns’ notoriously short first WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign.

#1 Seth Rollins

Dean Ambrose helped create the most recent entry on this list by cashing in on Seth Rollins.

At the most recent WWE pay-per-view, Money in the Bank, Dean Ambrose wasted very little time. He won the MITB briefcase in the traditional ladder match against Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio.

Later in the night, Seth Rollins beat Roman Reigns to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but he barely got to enjoy the win before Ambrose’s music hit. Dean came up with a sneak attack, though, and cashed in to end Rollins’ second run as champion after just 1 minute and 51 seconds.
