5 Things that can happen in the Braun Strowman - Kevin Owens feud

This could be the feud of the year.

Braun Strowman is the one Superstar who is literally powering his way to success. In the last couple of months, the “Monster Among Men” has won the Greatest Royal Rumble and the Money in the Bank contract.

However, the one thing that he seems to have enjoyed the most in the recent past is messing with Kevin Owens. In the last couple of weeks, WWE Universe has seen these two take jabs at each other.

Owens tried to team up with several other Superstars to take out the “Big Man” before Money in the Bank PPV. When that didn’t work, the “Prize Fighter” even tried to ally himself with the Monster (two weeks ago). However, Mr. MITB had different plans. He threw Owens from the top of a ladder at the last PPV and destroyed Owens’ car as seen last week on Raw.

With a couple of combustible elements already thrown in the tussle between these two, it seems a lot of interesting plots are further on their way to treat the wrestling fans worldwide. Here are the top five ideas for the future of this feud.

#1 Owens runs away with the MITB contract

Could he take the contract for a run?
Could he take the contract for a run?

So far the feud between these two Superstars has been like a cat-and-mouse chase with Strowman chasing Owens all over the arena to get his hands on him. The fans have really gone behind the concept.

It would be really cool if Owens runs away with the biggest accolade of the other man’s career, the Money in the Man contract. It could be interesting if the Monster would have to chase Mr. Owens not only to get his hands on him but also to get back his ultimate prize from the “Prize Fighter”.

This storyline not only has a fun factor inherent in it but also provides the possibility for backstage promos between various matches.

#2 A Steel Cage match

Owens certainly has more experience in this match.

A steel case between the two could be another interesting possibility. Although this match seems to favor Strowman, there is still a lot in the store for his opponent as well.

Owens has been running for his life at the very sight of the “Monster Among Men”. This match will force him to face his fear with nowhere to run. However, this match also presents the opportunity for him to beat his opponent without having to gain a pinfall or submission.

Here the difference in size can come in really handy for the former Universal Champion, who will be the underdog going into this match. It could be one of the stipulations that can happen at Extreme Rules.

#3 Stephanie McMahon fines Braun Strowman

Would the Monster listen to the
Would the Monster listen to the "Boss"?

In the last couple of weeks, Raw has been about handing out punishments to the Superstars. Kurt Angle suspended Ronda Rousey for getting her outburst on the night after Money in the Bank PPV.

Last week on Raw, the Raw General Manager also asked Bayley to attend counseling sessions to cool off her temper. Not to mention, he added that she will be fired if she fails to do so.

Although Owens is not friends with the Olympian, he has a better (and more powerful) person to seek resolution for the damage done to his car. He can reach out to the Raw Commissioner, Stephanie McMahon, who happens to be the one to hire Owens in the first place.

Could Mr. Money in the Bank have to a spent a little money out of his own bank to pay for the damages?

#4 Owens challenges Strowman – For MITB briefcase

Could Kevin Owens dare to challenge Braun Strowman?
Could Kevin Owens dare to challenge Braun Strowman?

Speaking of handing out punishments, what better way to punish the “Monster Among Men” by threatening him of losing his dearest possession. Braun destroyed a personal favorite thing (car) for Owens, and he can retaliate by challenging the Monster for his Money in the Bank contract.

There could be a lot of ways to pan out this storyline. Owens could steal the briefcase and challenge Strowman for it, or he could take Stephanie’s help to force Strowman to defend the contract. Not to mention, the plain old man-to-man challenge would also be a good way to arrive at this.

If this match indeed happens, Brock Lesnar would certainly have his eyes set on him.

#5 Owens strike when Strowman cash-in

Could Owens make the contract immaterial?
Could Owens make the contract immaterial?

There is something special about revenge being served cold. It’s the best!

Kevin Owens knows that he doesn’t stand a chance if he faces Braun Strowman one-on-one. However, being one of the best Heels on WWE roster, he certainly knows when is the most opportune time to make a move.

The “Prize Fighter” can decide to strike back when the ultimate prize is on the line -- the cash-in. It would be the way of revenge for Kevin Owens after weeks of running, not to mention the damage done to his car.
