5 Things that WWE should not do at any cost at WWE Elimination Chamber 2020- Unexpected title change & more

Seth Rollins and Murphy shouldn't become Tag Team champions again
Seth Rollins and Murphy shouldn't become Tag Team champions again

As we inch closer to WWE Elimination Chamber, it is impossible not to feel the excitement of WrestleMania season. Yes, WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 may be scheduled for this weekend, but we all know that this is just a precursor to the upcoming WrestleMania 36 pay-per-view event.

WWE is doing a lot that is right at the moment, and one has to commend the company for doing such a fantastic job, so many years since its inception. And yet, we know how one tends to dwell more on the negatives more than the positives in today's day and age and one misstep could undo all of the good work that they have done.

And this is why I bring you a list of things that I believe WWE should not do at the upcoming pay-per-view event, in my personal opinion. Be sure to chime in and let me know if you agree or disagree with my assessment.

I would love to know your thoughts about the same.

#5 Seth Rollins and Murphy regain the RAW Tag Team Championships again

No, Seth Rollins and Murphy should not become the RAW Tag Team Champions again and you don't need me to tell you why this is the case. It is always better to have actual Tag Teams holding the gold in the tag team division, in my personal opinion. If not, what is the whole point of having tag teams in the roster anyway, right?

To have Seth Rollins and Murphy regain the RAW Tag Team Championships would derail their momentum. Maybe have The AoP step up to the plate this time to take The Street Profits down at WrestleMania, WWE Creative. But at Elimination Chamber, The Street Profits should win the match and pretty much, end the feud for good, in my personal opinion.

#4 Aleister Black defeats AJ Styles

At a BT Sport event in the United Kingdom, Sportskeeda's own Gary Cassidy caught up with WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle and quizzed him on a whole bunch of topics. One of the topics that the legend touched upon was the subject of AJ Styles, a man that he's waged wars with, in TNA and you can catch his thoughts in the link posted above.

Aleister Black should be treated like a big star and yes, he should be winning a lot more matches than he loses, in my opinion. However, he does not have a match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania and AJ Styles seemingly does, so The Phenomenal One needs to be protected in this instance, at least.

Much of Aleister Black's aura has already been diminished owing to the fact that it takes him more than one Black Mass to win his matches these days, in my humble opinion. This is yet another macro issue that should be rectified because it took just one of these kicks to win his matches while in NXT.

#3 Andrade loses the US Championship

Andrade was suspended for 30 days owing to a recent wellness policy violation and I think that WWE may use this as the reason to take the title off his waist. I do not necessarily think that this is the right move because as good as he is, I don't think that Humberto Carillo is ready for the spotlight.

Yes, Carillo is a very good wrestler, but we all know that it takes a lot more than mere in-ring skills to be a Champion that the audience can buy into. Andrade is the complete package with regard to the way he carries himself and the way that he can tell a story in the ring, by himself and with the help of his manager, Zelina Vega.

The audience is bound to turn on Humberto Carillo as they have with so many babyfaces in the past who've won Championships at a time when they were not ready to conquer the world yet. He's definitely a contender for a future contender for the WWE US Championship, but for now, the company should keep the title on Andrade.

#2 Anyone but Shayna Baszler wins the women's Elimination Chamber match

I mean no disrespect to the incredible women who will be a part of the Elimination Chamber match at the upcoming pay-per-view, but it is Shayna Baszler's time to shine. As cool as the other matches would be, nobody wants to see Becky Lynch take on Natalya or Asuka again or Becky Lynch against any other members of the Riott Squad at WrestleMania. They want her to exact punishment for Shayna Baszler biting the back of her neck, the act that started their feud on RAW.

Not only should Shayna Baszler win the match, but she should do so in a very comprehensive manner. She should be portrayed as a legitimate threat to the woman who has dominated the RAW Women's Division for the last year or so. Natalya and Asuka have been unable to bring 'The Man' down thus far, and much of their myth has been dispelled if that actually makes sense.

Shayna Baszler shouldn't even rely on her NXT Horsewomen to have her back.

#1 Braun Strowman loses the WWE Intercontinental Championship

In case you want a comprehensive rundown of WWE Elimination Chamber, please join Sportskeeda's own Gary Cassidy in conversation with the legendary Sean Ross Sapp. The two men run through the card and share their thoughts on the pay-per-view.

Yes, in an ideal world Sami Zayn, Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura would be booked in a much stronger manner than they are at the moment. But the fact of the matter is that Braun Strowman is one of the biggest draws in the company, and yes, he is a bigger draw than all three of the men I have listed.

And so yes, I want Braun Strowman to run through the heels and defeat all three of them to carry the Championship all the way to WrestleMania. And he could go up against someone like Sheamus, who has been very vocal about wanting to become the Intercontinental Champion.

Sheamus has been protected and presented as a top heel. He could certainly have a good program against the current Intercontinental Champion.
