John Cena (2016)
Another recent return that features in this list is that of John Cena. Cena had a strong United States Championship run in 2015 but just when he seemed to be heading to WrestleMania, Cena required a shoulder surgery. Initially, the return date of Cena was undisclosed, but the Cenation leader made his return at WrestleMania to aid The Rock in fending off the Wyatt family.
Cena was expected to be out for at least five more months after his appearance at WrestleMania, but he announced that he would return to action on Memorial day this year and proved once again that he always wins his fights against injuries.
