6 Biggest things WWE secretly told us at the Royal Rumble

Becky steals the show
Becky steals the show

In what was probably one of the most compelling shows of the year, WWE put their best foot forward into presenting us the Royal Rumble from Chase Field, Arizona tonight.

Follow Sportskeeda for the latest WWE news, rumors and all other wrestling news.

All the matches on the kick-off proved vital in bringing more emphasis on the main card, where the female competitors, especially Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch with their immense technicality and craft brought the house down.

There's no denying that Vince McMahon could be planning some legitimate alterations on the main roster after facing a huge backlash from the fans for the same repetitive product every single week.

The Road to WrestleMania 35 has begun and how, with both the Men's and Women's Royal Rumble matches playing an integral role in setting the stage for the Grandest Stage of Them All in New Jersey.

Overall, the night was a solid blend of wrestling and sports entertainment presented to the fans who desperately yearned for something rejuvenating to happen this year.

With Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch now destined to headline the Grandest Stage of Them All, this year's WrestleMania looks a solid one.

While there were some glitches tonight where the creative decisions could have irked the fans, the Royal Rumble was successful in eventually garnering the spotlight it deserves.

Considering that the matches definitely enlightened the crowd, there are still a lot of things that the company tried to tell us vicariously through some of their segments and matches that happened. What were they? Let's find out.

Here are the six biggest things WWE secretly told us at the Royal Rumble.

#6 Becky Lynch will defeat Ronda Rousey at the Grandest Stage of Them All

This is absolutely incredible
This is absolutely incredible

Chase Field has just witnessed a miracle, as Becky Lynch defied all odds and ascended to the top by winning the Women's Royal Rumble match.

While many fans criticized the initial stages of the Women's Royal Rumble match, the company certainly did a good job in booking the ending to perfection.

Lynch's willingness to fight Charlotte despite suffering the wrath of Asuka in the SmackDown Women's Championship match combined with the savage assault by Nia Jax was absolutely breathtaking.

Since we already know that The Man is rumored to headline the Grandest Stage of Them All, she could eventually be the one Vince McMahon ends up pushing to the moon by having her defeating the Rowdy One for the first time.

The story is on the table. The former SmackDown Women's Champion is destined to lock horns with the Raw Women's Champion and after what transpired tonight, she could very well tap her out at MetLife Stadium.

#5 The Miz will not lock horns with the Planet's Champion at WrestleMania

This could be good
This could be good

Remember when the Miz was drafted to SmackDown Live as part of the Superstar Shake-Up and we all rejoiced that we could be finally getting the WrestleMania headliner we all wanted to see?

Looks like it ain't happening, my friends. The Miz's current chemistry with Shane McMahon could see him going into WrestleMania 35 as the SmackDown Tag-Team Champions.

Despite the fact that the fans have vehemently stated their displeasure on WWE's booking of the tag-team division, Shane and Miz's inclusion in the division could coerce the company to bring some seriousness to it.

Considering that the 'New' Daniel Bryan is enacting his role to perfection as a smart heel, Erick Rowan's surprising intervention in the WWE Championship feud has left the fans questioning about what happens next.

Since there's still a possibility that we could still see the Phenomenal One lock horns with the WWE Champion at WrestleMania, this certainly rules out the Miz out of the main event picture.

#4 The New Daniel Bryan could be forming a huge stable similar to The Straight Edge Society

Was this good?
Was this good?

This is certainly an exciting team to be a professional wrestling fan. With the birth of All Elite Wrestling, Vince McMahon is genuinely looking to fight the good fight and dominate the scene by bringing some serious alterations to his product.

One such alteration could see the Chairman pushing Daniel Bryan as a villainous heel going into the Grandest Stage of Them All in New Jersey.

After Erick Rowan shockingly interrupted the proceedings and proved consequential in dumping AJ Styles out of the WWE Championship, he could be the first of perhaps many forces aligning in Bryan's quest to change the world.

Considering that this could also possibly involve Luke Harper joining the frame soon, doing something similar to CM Punk's Straight Edge Society could be remarkably special.

Judging the heat Punk received for constantly questioning the audiences' beliefs, Bryan could also capitalise by vehemently criticising the WWE Universe and coercing them to change.

#3 Finn Balor's Demon King moniker was strongly protected in his loss to Brock Lesnar

The Beast Vs. Finn was incredible
The Beast Vs. Finn was incredible

There's no denying that Finn Balor absolutely tore the house down with Brock Lesnar tonight at the Royal Rumble, with the Beast eventually conquering the former NXT Champion.

Despite the fact that the match felt short, the Extraordinary Man did everything he could to slow the Universal Champion and work a way to get the better off the Beast.

While legions of WWE fans expected the Demon King to show up and light the entire Chase Field, Vince McMahon might have not wanted to take the risk and push the idea ahead.

Considering that his demonic presence feels so special, the company certainly coerced the idea of protecting his moniker and presented him as an underdog tonight.

The former Universal Champion played his part to perfection by intelligently targeting Lesnar's mid-section throughout the bout and told a brilliant story within the squared circle.

While we might not know when Vince decides to bring his demonic moniker back to our screens, but one thing's for sure - he certainly will protect it.

#2 Drew Mcintyre is still not ready to grab the Universal Championship

Where is the Ruthless Aggression?
Where is the Ruthless Aggression?

Drew Mcintyre has proved time and again that he is one of the most driven competitors in the entire wrestling business and is certainly moving to the top slowly, but steadily.

Considering that the former NXT Champion's focus was to be a major name in the proceedings for WrestleMania 35, his elimination at the Royal Rumble felt a little disappointing.

Legions of WWE fans were expecting the Scottish Terminator to go on to win the Royal Rumble or at least fight to get his hands on the golden ticket to the Grandest Stage of Them All.

However, Dolph Ziggler's surprise entry surprised the audience and led to Mcintyre being distracted; causing him to lose his focus and be eliminated.

This certainly means that Vince McMahon could be planning a blockbuster bout between the two at the Show of Shows, but it only goes on to justify that his quick elimination was a sign that he is still not ready to grab the Universal Championship on Monday Night Raw.

#1 Kenny Omega is not signing with the WWE

Hope the dust is settled now
Hope the dust is settled now

Despite being heavily rumored to make a blockbuster transition to Vince McMahon's billion dollar company, Kenny Omega didn't make any sort of appearance at the Royal Rumble.

Moreover, there seems to be no sign that the company would want to sign him after the Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes decided to divert their attention towards All Elite Wrestling.

While losing Omega at this stage is catastrophic, the company would still continue ahead with the stories they have planned for the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Many in the WWE Universe predicted Omega to shock the entire world and while he was initially the hot favorite to win the entire thing, his absence has certainly spoken volumes on where he will land next.

Don't expect the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion to show up in the WWE at all this year, with the Cleaner possibly joining forces with his buddies to rule the world of professional wrestling.
