Relationships between WWE co-workers have been thrust into the spotlight over the past few years, particularly as many couples have become key parts of the Total Divas reality show. The first relationships featured heavily on the series were those between John Cena and Nikki Bella, as well as Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan. Over the years that have followed, numerous other couples have also been spotlighted on the show.
Aside from those featured on Total Divas, many other WWE Superstar couples have revealed themselves publicly via other avenues.
Unfortunately, not all WWE Superstar relationships have seen a happy ending. One reason for this might be that many of these couples were born out of the convenience of being around each other on road.
Spending so much time with one another, though, is not necessarily the healthiest thing for a couple - and a fair number of these relationships have quickly fizzled out.
The following list looks at just six current WWE Superstars that once dated a fellow co-worker.
#6. John Morrison dated fellow WWE star Melina
John Morrison and Melina made their WWE debut together back in 2005 as two-thirds of MNM alongside Joey Mercury. Melina later went on to lead the group to Tag Team Championship gold, before MNM went their separate ways.
Melina and Morrison were in a relationship when they made their debut on the main roster and remained together throughout their time in the company until Melina was released in 2011.
There was a point back in 2006 where Morrison and Melina split for a number of months after some rumoured controversy involving soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer Batista, although Melina has denied this.
Morrison was later released from the company and the two stars continued their relationship whilst working together on the independent circuit and even worked together again in Lucha Underground.
After several issues between the two stars, their relationship came to an end back in 2015. Morrison has since moved on, marrying fellow wrestler Taya Valkyrie whom he worked closely with whilst with IMPACT Wrestling.
There have been rumors recently regarding Melina and her return to WWE. Whilst Melina has denied re-signing for WWE, she would be an interesting addition to the modern day women's division.
#5. Bobby Lashley was once engaged to former WWE Diva Kristal
Bobby Lashley made his return to WWE back in 2018 and has since been part of a controversial storyline marriage with Lana. Lashley's character was far plainer during his first stint with WWE, where he met Kristal Marshall.
Kristal performed on the SmackDown brand for a number of years and was even part of her own marriage storyline with General Manager Theodore Long before her release back in 2007.
Ahead of Kristal's release from WWE, she began to date Lashley in early 2007. Their relationship would last until April 2010, and included a short stint working together as a couple in IMPACT Wrestling. Lashley and Kristal have two children together, a son called Myles who was born in 2008, and a daughter called Naomi, born in 2011.
"That [relationship] came about… let's see… at the beginning of 2007. I'd say about, no, no, that happened WrestleMania 2007. That's when we started dating and that happened quick! Lots of things happened quickly at that time."
It was the former WWE Diva who announced on Twitter back in 2010 that she had split with Lashley. Lashley now has three children, since he also has a daughter from a previous relationship, who was born in 2005.
#4. Drew McIntyre once married fellow WWE star Tiffany
Drew McIntyre is the current WWE Champion and has been pushed to the top of the company since his return to WWE, but he has not always been featured as a top star.
Back in 2009, McIntyre found himself much further down the card and became engaged to fellow star Tiffany (later known as Taryn Terrell in IMPACT), who is best remembered for her time on WWE's ECW brand. The couple went on to marry the following year, before divorcing less than 12 months later.
In August 2010, Tiffany was suspended from WWE following an incident with Drew McIntyre and was then released from the company that November - without making a further appearance for the promotion.
After the incident involving his wife, McIntyre fell down the ranks in WWE and his "Chosen One" push officially came to an end. This was then the beginning of the company utilising McIntyre as a comedy act as part of 3MB.
To the surprise of some, the Scottish Superstar was released from the company in 2014, but quickly resolved to reinvent himself on the independent circuit. McIntyre married Kaitlyn Frohnapfel in 2016, who he credits with helping him transform his attitude towards both his life and career.
#3. Murphy was once engaged to fellow WWE star Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss and Buddy Murphy came through the ranks in NXT together, alongside Wesley Blake. Bliss was used as a manager throughout her time on WWE's black and gold brand - and was even able to lead Blake and Murphy to NXT Tag Team Championship gold.
Bliss was then promoted to the main roster without her partner back in 2016 as part of that year's WWE Draft. Murphy had to wait a number of years to follow Bliss up to the main roster, but the couple was able to make their relationship work despite appearing on different brands and even announced their engagement in 2017.
The couple also became cast members on Total Divas, which was when it started to become apparent that the couple was not on the same page anymore. In 2018, it was revealed that the couple had decided to go their separate ways.
Bliss and Murphy have remained close friends since their break-up and still co-parent some animals which they got during their time together. Bliss has even been vocally supportive on Twitter of Murphy's recent storyline with Aalyah Mysterio on WWE television.
#2. Dolph Ziggler once dated both fellow WWE stars Nikki Bella and Dana Brooke
Dolph Ziggler has been part of WWE for almost 15 years. In that time, "The Show Off" has been publically linked with several high-profile partners. During his early years with the promotion, Ziggler dated fellow WWE Superstar Nikki Bella, until they split in 2012 - when Bella moved on to a relationship with former 16-time World Champion John Cena.
Bella was not the only WWE employee that Ziggler has been confirmed to have had a relationship with either, as Dolph also dated Dana Brooke.
The couple met whilst Brooke was coming through the ranks in NXT, but only dated for around a year back in 2015. Despite their short romance, the pair were relatively open about their relationship whilst it lasted.
The couple spent Thanksgiving together, as well as sharing a number of images on their social media pages that indicated that they had become much closer than friends.
Ziggler has also dated comedy actress Amy Schumer, but she reportedly broke up with Ziggler, claiming that their bedroom manner was "too athletic."
#1. Seth Rollins was once in a relationship with fellow WWE star Zahra Schreiber
When Seth Rollins arrived on the WWE main roster back in 2012 as part of The Shield, he was already engaged to his long-time partner Leighla Shultz. The couple had met whilst Leighla was a waitress and Rollins was still working on the independent circuit.
This all changed back in 2015 when some images of Rollins were leaked online and it was became clear that the former World Champion had been involved in a relationship with another woman.
Leighla and Rollins later called off their engagement and the woman who was in the leaked images, Zahra Schreiber, started dating Rollins instead.
At the time, Zahra was working for WWE's NXT brand, but was released by the company soon after news of her involvement with Rollins became public. Despite her WWE departure, the couple continued their relationship before announcing their split in early 2016.
At present, Rollins is engaged to fellow WWE star Becky Lynch, who is due to give birth to the couple's first child in December.
