WWE has many talented superstars that are working very hard to impress the fans. Some of these wrestlers have been working for the company from a very long time while some have recently joined it.

Follow Sportskeeda for the latest WWE news, rumors and all other wrestling news.

There’s no guarantee of how long a wrestler would stay in a company as they have the freedom to work anywhere once their contract expires.

This year as well, some wrestlers would leave the company, but nobody knows who exactly they are.

I have done some research and found that many big superstars could leave the WWE this year in a few months. I know my predictions wouldn’t be 100% accurate, but still, this list has a high chance of being correct.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at some wrestlers who could leave the WWE by the end of this year.

#8 Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is the current Universal Champion of the WWE. He has won this championship two times with his first reign being over 500+ days long and the second one still counting.

He was supposed to leave the company after WrestleMania 34, but he signed a short-term extension. Later, he lost his championship against Roman Reigns at Summerslam 2018, and everyone assumed that now he has left the company.

However, he then returned again at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view and later became the Universal Championship at WWE Crown Jewel.

According to a report, he had signed a contract for two more appearances with the first being at Survivor Series 2018 and the second is going to be at the Royal Rumble.

So it’s possible that Lesnar could lose his title at this event against Finn Balor and then leave the company for some time. And then he could fight his match against Daniel Cormier in the UFC.

#7 Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura hasn’t done anything significant except for winning the 2018 Royal Rumble match

Shinsuke Nakamura joined the WWE in 2016. Then, he spent some time in the NXT before showing up on the main roster.

However, since his main roster debut, Nakamura hasn’t done anything significant except for winning the 2018 Royal Rumble match.

He then faced AJ Styles at WrestleMania 34 for the WWE Championship but failed to win it. He also turned heel in this match, and since then, his career became stale.

His WWE contract is going to expire this year, and it’s possible that he could then leave the company.

There is currently no rumour that Nakamura is planning to leave the WWE but, money can change everything. If AEW or any other wrestling promotion would give him a great offer then why not?

#6&5 Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder (The Revival)

The Revival has already asked for their release

The Revival is a tag team that is being wasted on the main roster. According to a rumour they have already asked for their release, but the WWE asked them to give three months so that things could change.

This team of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder was very successful in the NXT, but since their main roster debut, everything has changed for The Revival. Not only that they didn’t win the tag team championship but was also included in multiple meaningless storylines.

Even though the company has asked them some time to change things, it’s still likely that The Revival could leave the company, eventually. If they do then All Elite Wrestling could sign them and who knows, maybe The Revival would become the biggest tag team in this promotion.

#4 Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey shocked the world by joining the WWE in 2018. She was already a big MMA fighter in the WWE, and this is why she had no problem in getting a push in the company.

She fought her very first match at the WrestleMania where she defeated Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Then, she defeated Alexa Bliss and the SummerSlam pay-per-view to win the Raw Women’s Championship.

It’s clear that she has made a name for herself in the WWE, but it could all end next year. Even though the Wrestling Observer Newsletter says that she has signed a multi-year deal with the WWE, Ric Flair believes that she has signed a deal for just one year.

She has already stated in the past that she wants to start a family with her husband and this could be the reason for her departure from the WWE.

Considering she has already achieved a lot in both UFC and WWE, Rousey could prematurely end her pro wrestling career this year’s WrestleMania.

#3 Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler has been working for the company for a very long time. He signed a contract with this company in 2004, and so far he has won WWE Championship, United States Championship, Intercontinental Championship and Raw Tag Team Championships.

From the past few months, the company has started to focus on him as well but not that much. However, according to a recent rumour, he could be leaving the WWE this year.

He has reportedly also turned down a WWE offer and now will be going on a comedy tour. He also changed his Twitter name to his real name for this reason.

Sportkeeda’s Daniel Wood also posted an article that shows some more proof that Ziggler could be leaving the WWE soon. If we consider all these, then there’s no doubt on why Ziggler will not leave the company.

#2 Andrade

The Mexican Superstar could also leave the company
The Mexican Superstar could also leave the company

Andrade (formally knows as Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas) is one of the best performers in the company, right now. He joined the company in 2015 and since then hasn’t achieved a lot but has provided several big matches.

He fought AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio on several occasions and everyone enjoyed his matches. However, according to a rumour, he isn’t happy with his current position in the company and wants to leave it.

Now it’s obvious why he thinks that. He hasn’t won any championships in the main roster right now and was expecting a strong push from the company which he didn’t receive.

However, we should also note that his main roster debut happened just a few months ago and it takes some time to build a Superstar’s career in the WWE. But, if the Mexican Luchador doesn’t think like that, then no one could change his mind.

So it’s safe to say that the chances of Andrade leaving the WWE are pretty high.

#1 AJ Styles

AJ Styles had a really great career in the company since joining it in 2016. He has achieved so much in such a short time and has also managed to become a fan-favourite superstar.

Styles had signed a three-year contract with the WWE that is going to end this year in April. He has recently lost his WWE championship to Daniel Bryan, and it could be because he wants to leave the company.

As we already know that AEW has already signed many big superstars and Styles could also join them. Some fans may believe that it is highly unlikely to happen as he could be retiring in some time.

He had already hinted his retirement from pro wrestling on many occasions and this could also be the reasons for Styles' departure from the WWE.
