WWE legend Mickie James and Kenny Dykstra started dating nearly 15 years ago. In 2007, the couple announced their engagement. Nonetheless, they split a few years later.

Following their breakup, Dykstra claimed that he discovered that James was seeing John Cena behind his back.

"She was googling mickie james and john cena dating. I asked why, she broke down crying. Then I heard more from others. She was checking to see if it was on the net yet,” he tweeted.

The former WWE Women's Champion responded to Dykstra's comments, accusing him of lying to help his book sales.

"As far as that whole thing with Ken it was a shame that he went out and said the things that he did and did that, because I feel that a lot of it was a lie and it was mostly just kind of to help his book sales or whatever the case may be. But you know, it is what it is and you know, I’m a grown up," she said on the Lilian Garcia: Making Their Way to the Ring podcast.

In December 2014, the six-time Women's Champion announced her engagement to current NWA star Nick Aldis. The couple tied the knot a year later. They now have a boy together.

WWE released Mickie James from her contract last April. She recently joined IMPACT Wrestling, where she is now the IMPACT Knockouts Champion.

Meanwhile, Dykstra retired from in-ring action last April. Nevertheless, he is currently a trainer at the WWE Performance Center.
